Colby is more than a pool contractor. He brings fresh & creative ideas to the table. He turned our vision into reality with style & precision. If you want someone who thinks outside the box, this is the team for you.
I have to say that Johnathan, who does the hot tub repairs and maintenance, has done a marvelous job repairing my hot tub after a large tree destroyed my hot tub room after Helene. He was hard working, honest and complete in his repairs and I would highly recommend his future care for anyone's hot tub.
Colby is outstanding at customer service and in the knowledge and the field of pools. He has been readily available to answer questions and meet our needs. He even went out of his way to help when we had a difficult time working with another Pool provider in Bristol Virginia. I would trust him to be fair and accurate in his dealings. Don’t look anywhere else if you’re shopping for pool supplies. Water works is the absolute best!
We bought a hot tub from the sister store, Outdoor Living & More, last Saturday. Tub was delivered Tuesday, I wired up the tub Thursday, and there was a PVC fitting that was not glued up from the factory. Fitting busted loose under the tub when I turned on the jets and made a mess. I went to both stores on Friday to show the problem. About 4PM Friday the service manager came out and fixed the issue. 5 stars for fixing this quickly, wife and daughter spent 2 hours in the tub tonight.
We’ve had our Whirlpool 451 hot tub for 3 months and absolutely LOVE it! We thoroughly enjoyed working with Peter and Linda; Bob and his crew made installation a breeze.I give the Waterworks a 4-star rating rather than five, for two minor Issues:1) Shortly after we installed the spa, we encountered an episode where the blue light on the front of the unit was flashing. We found the trouble shooting information for the unit to be lacking, both in the manual and online. I eventually resolved the issue after trial and error (the spa needed to be turned off and restarted); but it would have been helpful to have a troubleshooting resource available online.2) “Peter’s Perfect Water Recipe” instructed us to set the filtration cycle to “12 hours of filtration for every 24 hour period.” This cycle might work with some spas; however the Whirlpool spa is so tightly made and well insulated that the heat of the motor running for 12 hours raised the water temperature to 109 degrees. Once we adjusted the filtration to two 3-hour cycles daily (as recommended in the Whirlpool manual), it has worked wonderfully.Other than the duration of the filter cycle, Peter’s Perfect Water Recipe has been spot on and kept the water clear, clean and balanced. We had a spa several years ago, and it was always a challenge keeping the chemicals balanced. Peter has made it simple. We did a couple of things to make the process easy and efficient. First, we assigned each chemical a number (1-8), wrote the number on top of the bottle, and then placed all the chemicals in a plastic container near the spa. We then revised Peter’s instructions where every chemical was both in BOLD and has it’s number beside it’s name. We laminated the instructions and leave them in the box. Now, voila! Just open the box, look at the laminated sheet for the day’s adjustment, and it’s a no-brainer to pick up the right chemicals.Final recommendations: purchase some of the Leisure Time Foam Down and get a small (2 oz) plastic measuring cup from Ingles. After that, kick back and enjoy!
