Ok. Let me level set this review by sharing that my family has owned a small business for over 40 years. I ran the books and understand the many challenges of being a small business. I also have over 30 years in management. Let me start with the positive. Many of the workers and team members that work throughout the store are personable, helpful and want to do a good job. Now here are the areas for improvementRegina expects full payment upfront for their service department. I understand part of the thinking with this practice. But if a vendor expects full payment on agreed service, then they should make an extra effort to meet those dates and at a higher level of quality.Further, I paid for an opening, they started it, said the water was too dirty and recommended emptying the pool and refilling. As most of us know, multiple cleanings and chemicals can do the same thing. So I paid for an opening that was not completed. Then paid for them to remove the water (and the date that was agreed to was missed). At that point, I decided to no longer use Regina for pool service and went to another vendor with whom I am much happier.Also, I know how difficult it can be to find good help. And I know how difficult it can be to schedule service when it could take more time then initially expected. All that said, pools are high maintenance. Most of us who own them know this and are prepared for the investment, Regardless, I still use Regina for some of my chemical purchases but will not be using them for pool service.
Regina Pools provides the kind of customer service that is hard to find these-days. When my long-term provider turned me away during a busy opening season, Mary and Fran at Regina stepped up. Mary was empathetic to my situation, and Fran provided expert remote assistance to get my pool back on track. I’m happy to be their newest loyal customer! Thank you!
I would be lost without the folks who work here! When I got my hot tub, they walked me through everything I needed to know and now they assist me monthly in regulating my water when I bring a sample in to be tested. Earlier this year I had them come and empty my hot tub, clean it out and refill it. It was sparkling clean. I couldn’t be happier!
