Overall horrible experience with this company and they will block and delete your honest Facebook review. I know others have had good experiences, but I think it’s but they were much bigger projects for them, if you know what I mean. The owner’s communication is absolute horrible. Their work is subpar, they are expensive, and they liked that we paid cash for almost $10k worth of work. It took almost a year to complete the work. They tore up our landscape when it could have been salvaged during the delayed skimmer project. They finally completed the liner and pump and were done with the job in July, after waiting months, but when we went to use the pool, the skimmer didn’t work. It was the original skimmer and should have been replaced before the liner. The owner acted clueless to that fact that it wasn’t working. We had to finish the year without a skimmer and waited until spring to have them fix it. So now it’s More $$ that we had to spend because we had to have a working skimmer after already spending thousands for a new liner, pump and pool cover. They installed a pool cover on and it’s very crooked, but already drilled into our concrete, so it is was it is. We can’t even use one of the anchors because it’s not lined up like it should be.The pump outlet was not properly connected. That should not be an option, but he was ok with that, too. When I would reach out, crickets from very early on, especially when it came to the skimmer replacement. We waited over 8 mo for him to finally get out here to finish the skimmer job so we would have a working skimmer. He’d ghost me over and over and it actually turned out that someone I work with had him doing his new really nice pool install before us, but was started after us, lol. He claimed over and over he had no staff to get to us and that’s what he was waiting on, even though he promised us in July year before last that we were going to be a priority for the next spring to complete the job. He later admitted to me over the phone that he should not have committed to us that he could do the skimmer job.We had him do a caulking job around our steps that a two year old could’ve done a better job. They ran out of this caulk initially after telling us over and over how expensive it was and making excuse after excuse, which is what it was during the whole job, but then left the caulk job uncompleted all winter and when they finally came out to do the skimmer, they finished the caulk job. I texted him a picture of the completed job to see if it was how they were leaving it, he called me back to “explain” to me that it is what it is. It’s how the caulk is.When they finally replaced the skimmer after the new liner install the previous end of summer, they must’ve cut or tore the opening of our brand new liner and didn’t say anything, just glued and patched it up. We noticed it when we were swimming shortly after and texted him, he said he didn’t know about it. Asked for pics and told me it’s fine and those patches last. There was glue running down all over the new liner. He was very condescending with me, so my husband got on the phone because he was done with the owner talking down to me, ignoring my texts and ghosting me for over a year and all of a sudden he said he’d replace our brand new liner that we only used less than a handful of because we had no skimmer. The skimmer job took forever to compete after they finally started it and they left a huge hole in our concrete for weeks including over Memorial Day weekend when we had plans and he said it was fine. It was unsafe.Just overall horrible experience with them which was a really sucky feeling when the doctors I work with had good experiences. What we spent with them was a lot of money for us. I am just a nurse. I guess unless you are spending tens and tens of thousands with him, he is more responsive and attentive and makes sure his crew is doing quality work. I tried to communicate all of this last year after they completed the job instead of doing this, but you guessed it, crickets. He got his $$$.
From start to finish, Luis and his incredible team at AquaWorks exceeded our expectations! They guided us through every step of the process, from envisioning the perfect pool design to the construction and flawless finishing touches. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality work was amazing!!! Thanks to Luis and his crew, we now have a stunning backyard oasis that we can't wait to enjoy every summer. Highly recommend AquaWorks for anyone dreaming of their perfect pool!
Luis and his team have been consistently reliable for 8 years with our pool and spa. We have had the same liner now for 8 years and I attribute that to a quality team and quality installation. We have an automatic pool covers that needs repair occasionally and his team is always super responsive and gets the job done in a cost efficient way as well. I do talk to other people with pools and the pricing I hear from other companies is far more than what we have paid and I doubt the service is as good! Every year Luis' team reliably opens and closes our pool and helps us with anything that arises, promptly! We couldn't be happier with their service. We have made so many memories with our pool area and we have Aqua Works to thank for that!
Luis and the Aqua Works team did an amazing job! My pool was built 5 years ago and my liner started leaking in two and a half years. My original pool builder cut corners and did not prep the cement walls and stairs appropriately leaving no option but to purchase and install a new liner. Aqua Works spend an entire day grinding down sharp cement edges and prepping the pool for the new liner, which included a protective barrier between the concrete and liner. The job was completed in two days and I’m completely satisfied with the work and the price. I highly recommend Luis and his team!
Luis and Co. did an amazing job. Was here everytime he promised, answer the phone for all our questions. Top notch installation, honestly he probably did more than we paid him for. Super fair! We enjoyed his truthfulness, skills and kindness. He and staff very friendly and used their time well. I wouldn’t want anyone else taking care of all our pool needs. Thank you
