Reviews commonly highlight prompt call-backs, on-time arrivals, and detailed explanations during diagnostics. Several customers noted careful troubleshooting that solved persistent flow errors or leaks without pushing new tub sales. Pricing experiences vary, with one review describing a higher-than-expected bill after a multi-visit cleaning. Overall sentiment points to knowledgeable technicians and clear communication.

Very pleased with the work done by Eastside Hot Tub. I was getting a low flow error in my hot tub, which has been an on-again, off-again issue for quite awhile. Eastside was able to figure out the problem which was not easy (a plastic clip had become lodged in one of the pipes restricting the flow), and now my tub is working great. I was very impressed with the systematic approach they used to figure out the the problem. Also as a very nice gesture, they loaned me a hot tub cover (and delivered it) while I am waiting for my new cover to arrive. And I didn't even order the new one from them! Great customer service.

Barbara E. on Eastside Hot Tub

First time using, and experience was absolutely excellent!

Ryan returned my call promptly and asked a lot of questions to help diagnose what we had going on with our 16-year-old Cal Spas hot tub.

Then, Anthony and Harris came out just as scheduled, right on time. I was impressed from the moment I opened our front door to them. They were courteous, friendly, and unusually well-spoken. They explained what they were going to do, and clearly narrated what actions they were taking as they examined and worked on our hot tub. They worked well as a team, sharing information and observations back and forth. They offered the least-expensive fix first, and gave me clear options for next steps. The solution they came up with (tightening the pump face plate and adding Fix-a-Leak) seems to have solved the problem 100%, as of one week later. I elected to do my own cleanout and refill after their visit; they would have done so with a follow-up visit, but they didn't push me in that direction.

Overall, we received superior customer service, and the price was reasonable. We will absolutely use them for future repairs, and when the time comes, we'll buy our next hot tub through them.

Dalton Lasnier on Eastside Hot Tub

Eastside Hot Tub went above and beyond my expectations. Our hot tub had a leak and other businesses I called seemed more interested in selling me a new tub rather than taking the time to fix my current one. I spoke with Ryan on the phone and he was very knowledgeable and got a service technician out quickly to identify the issue. The service charge was very affordable and well worth it, and now my tub runs like it’s new!

I highly recommend giving these guys a call, they’re the hidden gem for Seattle-area hot tub experts that aren’t just trying to burn up your wallet. When the time comes to replace my current tub I will definitely be contacting Eastside Hot Tub. They are genuine guys with high standards of professional service, and they’re my new “forever” hot tub company!

Thanks again, Ryan!

Martin Bereta on Eastside Hot Tub

We contacted Eastside Hot Tub for a basic cleaning on our hot tub. I called Eastside for a quote on the cleaning, in which I was quoted $250. The serviceman that came out was great- very friendly and knowledgeable. He poured some chemicals in the tub and said those needed to sit for a week and he would be back in a week to finish the cleaning- offered no further info than that. He came back a week later, drained the tub and cleaned it, and refilled. We did purchase a starter pack of chemicals from the company which I figured were probably upcharged but since it was our first time getting them we figured it was easier to get them vs shopping around for cheaper prices (but FYI, all of the exact same products can be found on Amazon and would have saved us $150 getting them off Amazon). When the serviceman was completed I asked if he had a bill and he said Ryan (the manager or owner whom I had been dealing with) would call me to get my credit card. Ryan called to get my credit card info and never even told me a total amount or gave me a detailed receipt- I had to ask for the final bill and was astounded when he said it was $723...as we still had not received a receipt my husband then called him and asked him to break the bill down. Apparantly the first time the serviceman came out to pour a chemical in the tub that was a separate charge, along with both services adding on a hefty additional charge for "labor." The first time out he was here for 10 minutes max, the second time he was here for about an hour. These are all fine if that is what they charge, but extremely misleading when my quote was $250 and nothing else was mentioned along the way that labor is an additional charge and that the first visit was not part of the cleaning quote- this is my first time owning a hot tub and how would I know that was something different without it being explained to me? When my husband was trying to explain this to Ryan he became extremely rude, unprofessional, and unable to have a conversation about why we were frustrated. He did end up refunding us the charge for the initial visit (which we never asked for or expected, we really were just looking for him to understand he needs to explain his pricing and let people know when additional charges are adding up- but the refund was appreciated). I wish that's where our contact with this company ended but unfortunately after our tub was cleaned and refilled the water would not get hot. We had had zero issue with that before, and literally the second the hot tub was cleaned the water would not warm back up. It was very clearly related in timing to the tub just being cleaned. I was absolutely dreading calling Ryan back to talk to him about this issue, but had hopes that he could remain professional. Not the case. I tried to explain to him that we had never had a heating issue and talk out if something possibly could have happened during the cleaning- he wouldn't hear of it. He just kept saying nothing could have happened and the wiring or heater must have gone bad- he very clearly did not want to talk to me or "deal" with me as a customer. He accused me of trying to get something else "free" from him and said he couldn't warranty the entire hot tube just because they cleaned it. Absolutely not looking for a freebie, but again just wanted to have a conversation about things that possibly could have happened. Ryan kept pushing to get me off the phone, saying I needed a service call to come out and fix the heater but they were now completely booked up so he recommended I go with a different company. Literally the worst professionalism I have encountered in a really long time. He was completely rude, condescending, and unhelpful. I ended up calling a different company and they knew exactly what the problem was as soon as I described it, walked me through how to fix it on the phone, and didn't charge me a thing. Will definitely be sending all future business to them!

Sasha Parker on Eastside Hot Tub

When my wife and I purchased our home, one of its surprises was a hot tub that had clearly not been maintained since the sellers placed the house on the market, if not earlier. It was disgusting to say the least - dense algal growth, scum, smells, and more. We were afraid the tub would be unsalvageable and we started calling hot tub repair companies as a last-ditch effort.

After getting no response from a couple and a long runaround from a third company that repeatedly promised to call back soon with an appointment date and then canceled appointments at the last minute, I reached out to Eastside Hot Tub. They were immediately responsive and quickly worked us into their schedule. The person who made our service call was astonishingly unperturbed by the state of our hot tub and fixed it for us for a startlingly low fee. This was the first hot tub my wife and I have owned or been responsible for maintaining, so I also had a lot of questions regarding maintenance, which he happily answered.

This experience took place four months ago now and I have had zero problems with the hot tub ever since; I have just been following his recommendations and instructions for maintenance and everything has been great.

Our hot tub cover was also badly deteriorated and was retaining water and bacterial growth. Our serviceman quoted us a great price for a replacement and helped us find a great color match for our hot tub and surrounding structure; we are quite happy with this purchase as well.

If you want a professional, knowledgeable, and thorough service experience with good quality work that all comes at a reasonable price, look to Eastside Hot Tub!

Frequently Asked Questions

Typical calls include low-flow errors, heater and pump problems, leaks, sensor and control faults, and water quality issues. The team performs diagnostics first, then discusses repair options, parts availability, and timing. Many issues can be addressed in a single visit if parts are on hand. If not, they’ll outline the follow-up plan and costs.

Yes, service calls for older tubs are common, including units that have sat unused or were inherited with a home purchase. Technicians assess overall condition, recommend any safety-related fixes, and can perform deep cleaning and start-up. If parts are discontinued, they’ll review alternatives before proceeding.

Office staff or a technician will provide an appointment window and confirm access details. If diagnostics suggest a longer visit, they may schedule additional time or a follow-up to complete repairs. Calling ahead with model information and symptoms helps streamline the visit.

Both are available. One-time drain and clean services can reset a neglected tub, while periodic maintenance helps keep water balanced and equipment running smoothly. The technician will explain what’s included and any recommended add-ons before starting.

Have the spa model and any error codes ready, and ensure clear access to equipment panels and the electrical disconnect. If you’ve noticed leaks, note where and when they appear to speed diagnosis. Pets should be secured for safety, and gate codes or parking instructions are helpful.
