Customer feedback is mixed. Positive reviews mention responsive scheduling, clear communication, and helpful troubleshooting for both residential and commercial pools. Critical reviews focus on liner installation quality, difficulty reaching management about billing questions, and concerns about pricing for closures. Experiences appear to vary by service type and crew.
I see there are some negative reviews on here, but I must say that Sweetwater has been far and away the most responsive and helpful pool company that I have experienced in the region. They have helped in big situations AND small situations. They've fixed leaks, troubleshooted chemical issues, and there has been very CLEAR communication. THANK YOU for your service (to owners AND workers at Sweetwater).
We had our new liner installed in April 2021, right away we started talking to them about several areas of the liner falling. They came and tried to bandaid it by placing rubber pieces in the pool that don’t hold. We opened the pool this year and the liner is splitting and the areas are falling even more. I was told we had to buy the new liner and pay for a new install even though we have communicated his issue. I would not recommend that ever. We were told this liner would last 15-20 years.
This company is horrible. My husband and I tried to contact management countless times to figure out why my pool closure was so expensive. Could not get a hold of a single person who would discuss my bill which was north of $1,200(appears to be a common number Sweetwater likes to bill customers according to reviews) Our rep who left after being at the company for 3 months was replaced by a young gentleman who had no experience and could only relay my emails, but no one in management would respond. We are currently being taken to small claims without a single person in management responding from the company. I can’t wait for the judge to see right through this crooked company trying to strong arm customers. They didn’t even make an attempt to return our inquiry, but have no problem trying to unjustly bill people and waste their time in court. The current pool company, New England pool and spa said that it would be $7-800 max to open, even if the pool was extremely dirty.Read the reviews before choosing Sweetwater.STAY FAR AWAY.
Horrible Company. Don't Use this company for replacing the pool liner. They were useless. They changed my pool liner in 2016 and did a horrible job. 2 guys were working on sight and left the job sight without opening the return halls and installed trims by steps. The guy didn't even know how to install the trims by the steps. After finish the job we had horrible leak by steps, which destroyed the liner itself we had call another company.Don't use them, they are 20% cheaper, but it doesn't worth it.
I have used this company for service at a condominium that has indoor pool and spa and cannot thank them enough for always being available on very little notice and the professionalism of every staff member was exceptional.Michael G. Tucker, Facilities ManagerCrossroads on the Charles Condominium
