Wish we had looked at the reviews before using this business. So much more expensive than what we've ever paid other companies for the minor stuff they did. When I told this to the woman on the phone she just argued that she knows the people who run the other companies and they charge more than she does. Well, having dealt many times with both of the 2 other main pool service companies, they just don't - not for what we had done. I've never paid anywhere near this much for so little.
They didn't properly adjust the chemicals (I'm a certified pool operator so I know this stuff, but didn't have time to do it myself the week we needed the pool open before a party) which were drastically out of range when I tested them just a few days later. I had to add 16 pounds of calcium, for instance, which isn't something that leaves the water, so they clearly didn't bring it into range. They replaced a minor part and charged $100 for the labor (which takes literally 2 minutes), and I never got to look at the old part to see if it was actually broken or needed replacement -- they just billed me after the fact without asking if I wanted that done.
For a total of $650 the pool was left dirty & not fit to swim in. Had kids over just a few days later and there were tons of old bleached leaves, at least 2 old dead frogs, mass of hair in the skimmer, etc.
I brought all of this to their attention and they just insisted that they did a good job. When a business operates this way you have to think they don't actually care about their relationships with customers or getting to some kind of constructive resolution. They just hear, "you did a bad job" and they get defensive and shut down. It's never too late to grow up, folks.

Quality Pools and Spas did an amazing job getting our pool ready for summer! The team was fast, professional, and explained everything clearly. Debbie was especially friendly and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. Our pool looks fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend them to anyone in Boulder or surrounding areas!!!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from Quality Pools & Spas. They were quick to respond to my call about a broken pool heater and scheduled an appointment right away. The technician arrived on time, was friendly, and explained everything clearly. They had all the parts and knowledge needed and got the heater up and running in no time. Now we’re enjoying our pool again, thanks to their expert repair work. We plan on using them for all of our future pool servicing needs. I highly recommend them for any pool needs, they are truly professional and reliable!
