I’ve been using this pool service for a while now, and they’ve been outstanding. They installed our pool heater and did the pool plastering last year, and both projects were done with incredible attention to detail and everything has held up beautifully. On top of that, they respond extremely quickly and are always friendly and easy to work with. The technicians are knowledgeable, punctual, and always take the time to explain what they’re doing. Let me begin by saying I know what a bad contractor is. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on an attempted pool renovation with two separate contractors that wound up with the pool being unused and in a condition that defied explanation for nine years. See the first photo. The frogs enjoyed it. Then I found B&D.They are old world. They come from a mindsight not typically found in American attitudes. They truly believe if you're going to do a job, do it well. I read the 1-star reviews. I have spent many hours talking with the owners. The responses provided by those customers are just not these people. I can't even imagine them acting in that way. It's not their style.I immediately related to their work ethic. It was refreshing. As I observed what they were doing, I became more impressed. They actually wanted me to have the pool I wanted. So, you're thinking, of course they wanted me to have the pool I wanted, just whip out the checkbook. It wasn't like that. We sat, we talked, I explained my situation, and they were 100% honest with what I could achieve within my budget. Many people have champagne taste and a beer pocket. You have to accept reality. Pool materials are not cheap. B&D made it clear what I was buying, and they wouldn't start work until I knew what I was buying. Some customers believe that if they keep talking, magic will happen. If that's you, B&D is not your pool company. They are craftsmen, not magicians.So, what did happen? I made an investment and trusted in B&D's work ethic and skill. Now I have a hand-crafted tile pool. Did B&D work with me to give the best solution given time and budget? Absolutely. I've got nuthin' but love for these people. So much so, I've invited their families back for a BBQ next summer. Nuff' said.
