We have used Baker Pools LLC to service our pool for 20-25 years. I had to fire Todd yesterday because he hasn’t shown up since March. Our pool is essentially a pond with a live turtle in it. I was able to get a new provider, and he seemed like he cared about the job, and I appreciate that. The pictures I included are representation of how neglected the pool was by Todd!

We've had nothing but problems with the structure of the pool and the plaster finish since initial construction. Once construction is complete, it's very difficult to get them out to address construction shortcomings. And if they do come out, it's typically a band aid fix that does not address the root cause of the problem. Been struggling with the same issues for five years with no real resolution.That said, Baker Pools maintenance department deserves recognition for outstanding customer service. During unprecedented cold temperatures a couple years ago, I reached out to the maintenance department on two different occasions for separate pool equipment related issues. Both times, Kathy was pleasant and responsive, immediately placing me in touch with the right individuals to discuss my concerns. When it was decided that repairs were necessary, Bill and Ky arrived only a couple hours later. They were extremely professional, addressing my questions and concerns, while making the necessary repairs that ultimately saved me from more severe damage and additional costly repairs. Also, during the several days of bitterly cold weather, Kenny made himself available by phone all hours of the day to work through issues, which helped put me at ease. This team of individuals went above and beyond in ensuring I was taken care of. I owe them all a big THANK YOU!My rating is the average of one star for Baker's construction department and four stars for their maintenance department. My advice is to go a different direction for pool construction, but Baker's maintenance department is worth a look.
It seems that our pool installation was less of a "splash" and more of a "crash". From the get-go, our experience with the pool company has been about as smooth as a belly flop. Now, seven years into our aquatic adventure, we're still doggy-paddling through a sea of issues.The tiles on the pool sides have developed a rather annoying habit of playing hide and seek, while the coping and decking appear to be practicing their own version of the wave, resulting in a symphony of cracks.And let's not forget the beach entry, which we thought would be our own little slice of paradise. Instead, it's more like a fault line, constantly cracking under the pressure. If we'd known we were signing up for a geology lesson, we might have reconsidered!As for customer service, well, let's just say it's been about as refreshing as a dip in the Arctic Ocean. Our calls for help seem to be swallowed up like a small fish in a big pond. Just last week, I reached out about our disappearing tiles. They promised to email me some information, but it seems that email has gone on vacation, because it's certainly not in my inbox.So, here we are, treading water in a pool of problems, hoping for a life raft from the company that seems to have left us high and dry.
