This person, Blair does not even deserve one star, I got his number from a friend who said he helped them. He called me right away and told me he would come tomorrow, he asked me to send him the money for the part, which I did in good faith that he would come and fix it the next day, but the day after day and after many text messages he just kept lying and eventually never came. I told him that I have many children and I’m a mother etc, that I would like my money back, he eventually blocked me. This company is extremely unprofessional. Buyers beware
I was sold a hot tub that turned out to be a complete disaster. None of the pumps work, crucial piping is missing, and the entire system is non-functional. This wasn’t just a fixer-upper — it was a junk tub passed off as usable. The seller gave me the impression it was in working or at least restorable condition, but that was clearly not the case. It’s obvious now that they just wanted to unload a problem and take the money with no intention of being honest.Avoid this seller at all costs unless you want to waste your time and money. I feel completely ripped off
Blair Ruch came on a Friday to look at our hot tub!! Changed a part that we did not need changed and then told us it was a pump that would cost $429 plus labour charge said he was picking up part but needed money up front!! That should have been a red alert right there but gave him the money any way!! Surprise, surprise we don't see him again and he is ghosting us!! Do not let this man scam you too!! He is a scam artist!!If I could give 0 or negative for this review I would!!!
WHERE DO I BEGIN??My advice to anyone needing repairs to their hot tub/spa etc is do yourself a favour, DO NOT let Blair RUCH anywhere near your tub.My Jacuzzi J-365 tub was running well, except that the 2-stage pump had stopped. I contacted the company I purchased the tub from, and they sent Blair, as they had just hired him to service their customers. Right from the start, he appeared that he was unsure of what was causing the problem. After about 2 hours, he diagnosed it as the circuit board, and removed it, doing damage to other parts along the way. A new board ($500)was ordered, and he returned to install it. After another 2 hours, it was still not working. He left, stating that he would return to complete the repair, and despite numerous calls and messages, he has never returned, but took my "defective" circuit board when he left. The company has been unable to contact him, and he has allegedly caused problems to several of their customers' tubs.I called the Jacuzzi Service Dept, and a tech was sent out. The problem was diagnosed as, believe it or not, the 2 STAGE PUMP!!!. The pump($800) was subsequently replaced, and the tub is now working. After many calls, I was able to contacted Blair, and demanded my original circuit board be returned, as it could be re-installed, and the new one returned for a refund He advised that he had "disposed" of it, and no longer had it. He refused to help in any way, insisting that the problem WAS the circuit board.Point of this story..... Use a reputable tech the first time, and vet them (Google)before letting them near your equipment. If I had done this, I would have saved myself about $800, and a lot of hassle!!!I will also be reporting this company and "tech" to the BBB. I'd hate to see someone else go through this ordeal.
Had many delays and I did not feal confident in his ability to repair my hot tub after seeing reviews after I requested his services. He took my pumps to rebuild them, one of them was not repairable so he sold me a used one. Upon receiving the used pump and repaired pump, neither worked.I requested a refund as I was not impressed with the delays, lack of communication and quality of work.Blair did refund most of the money paid and I took my original pumps (including the one he could not fix) to a repair shop afterward and they were fixed.Nice enough guy but I was frustrated with the delays and lack of progress.
