I've driven by this Pool place. But didn't realize how big it was inside. It's a one stop shop . We were buying new Gazebo Curtains and needed new vinyl post caps for our above ground pool . Good customer service. Knowledgeable. Also found the Caps i needed . They have a full range of pool accessories. Outside furniture , Spas , in grounded pools . Highly recommend. I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Pioneer Family Pools warrants one.

I've worked with many pool service companies for openings and closings in Oakville over the years. This was, without question, the poorest pool opening experience I've had.

Following the opening, I found granules and residue left on my pool deck, components not properly put away, pool cover anchors left raised, and several aspects of the opening incomplete. I documented the issues and provided photos.

What ultimately led me to leave this review was not the mistakes themselves, but how they were handled.

I provided photos showing granules left on the deck immediately following the service, as well as the resulting discoloration in those exact locations after the granules were rinsed away. Despite this, I was told the issue was simply "efflorescence" and was provided instructions on how to clean it myself.

There was no site visit, no meaningful investigation, no offer to remediate the issue, and no acknowledgment that the discoloration appeared immediately after the service in the same locations where material had been left behind.

Throughout the correspondence, I felt the focus was on explaining why Pioneer was not responsible rather than understanding what had happened and working toward a reasonable resolution.

I understand that mistakes happen. Had Pioneer acknowledged the issues, inspected the property, and made a genuine effort to resolve the situation, this review would not exist.

Instead, I was left feeling that the burden of proving the problem — and fixing it — had been placed entirely on me.

Based on both the quality of the service and the way my concerns were handled afterward, I will not be using Pioneer Family Pools again and would not recommend them for pool opening or closing services.

Brutal for the price paid.

Great experience with Pioneer Pools Burlington! They had the best pricing on Treasure Garden umbrellas and CR Plastics furniture — highly recommend purchasing here. Allie was wonderful to work with, providing clear communication and an accurate quote. Our furniture arrived assembled about a month after purchase. Only minor feedback: delivery communication could be improved, as we received no notice before arrival despite the email stating otherwise. Overall, excellent products and service!

Pioneer did our pool and immediately we were unhappy with all the patchwork seen through the liner. Pioneer refused to stand behind their work and would do nothing. Now our liner is lifting at the seams. Because of the “25 year pro rated” warranty for lifting at the seams, we contacted them. They immediately said we should just buy a new pool liner as the warranty will only cover if our pool starts to lose water and we should only expect the liner to last 7-12 years. So disappointed with the lack of support from this company. Think twice.

UPDATE!!!!! Pioneer pools sent someone in management out to look into our complaints but made sure to come when someone wasn't home regardless that we voiced request to discuss with someone in person. This guy started talking down to me and then my husband. His only agenda was to prove us wrong instead of listening to our concerns. We were told to be thankfull we got 9 years out of the liner. So for future buyers, expect to replace your liner under 9 years, If Pioneer Family Pools installs it. 8 years now with horrible service and even worst install.
Liner looks like its been patched everywhere, the concrete work under the liner has visible bumps 1 1/2" tall. Jandy pump blew in the first year, Heater leaked and blew the 2nd year. Salt cell lasted 2 years. Pool was professionally maintained. Asked for someone to take a look at the liner, No chance. They will not honour the 25 year warranty that they advertise. We only wish to prepare people so they can avoid a pool that looks like ours, and not to trash a companies reputation.
