We had Plan Pool install our in ground ICF pool this summer and we are so glad we did! Joe was knowledgeable and extremely responsive throughout the entire process as well as after the project wrapped. He took our vision and turned it into reality in our backyard. There are so many variables when it comes to such a large project and Joe curates the highest quality materials. We also are so glad we went the ICF route. We researched the various options including steel, fiberglass, and gunite and we have seen the benefits of ICF firsthand in our electric bills—even when we’ve turned the pool up to 91 degrees for a fall family swim! We would definitely recommend Plan Pool.
When was the last time you spent a full weekend out in your backyard with your family, your friends or a combo of both? As a very busy family with 3 teenagers in multiple sports, it was getting harder and harder to find time, and some days the energy, to get everything and everyone loaded up and into the car to head up north to our cabin. It was getting harder to make sense of driving 2 hours one way for just a night away to make sure we were still using our cabin. Insert Joe at Plan Pools. It was hard to wrap our heads around being 'home' all the time, but the more we have used our pool, the more we know we made the right choice. Our family LOVES our pool, as a mom, I LOVE our pool. What was only an idea in the middle of June became our new reality 3 weeks later. We have already had countless get-togethers with friends and family. We have spent more family time in the backyard these last few months than we have the 8 years we have lived in our house. Because let's be real, who really spends that much time in their backyard? When you purchase your house, you pay for the whole lot. So why not use it? As your kids get older, it feels good to have them home. You want to get to know their friends, you want to have conversations with them, you want them to want to be with you. Give them something so you can have all these things. A pool is the perfect answer for this! Yes, you will have wet towels and footprints, but those footprints and countless bags of snacks are worth it. Nothing will ever be able to give you back the time you spend with your family.I can not recommend Joe with Plan Pools enough. He was always to the point, told us how it was and sometimes you appreciate that more after the fact. When he told us he was going to wreck our whole backyard, we thought he was kidding. But he wasn't. To be honest, our backyard looked like an absolute muddy warzone. Trust the process, Joe told us, over and over again. Again, he wasn't kidding. Our backyard has become our new haven. If you want someone who is honest, prompt and able to give you the time with your family you crave, go with Joe. Plan Pools has my recommendation, 110%. I give them a 12/10 rating and we do not regret the time we have had this year. We are already looking forward to the fun and time together next summer; and so are our friends, ha!
