Four years ago, when we had our pool redone, I was very pleased with Environmental Pools, but since the install was complete, it’s been nothing but problems with the quality of the work. It all started when we opened the pool the following season. We had calcium bleeding through everywhere. It took a couple of calls but Andy (Sr) ended up coming out and helping us rid the calcium buildups initially. Later that year, we noticed two cracks in the corner of the pool, again few phone calls and Andy (Sr) came out and used a sealer on the cracks. The calcium continued to bleed through and it has never stopped. I’m constantly scraping and scrubbing it off. This season, when the pool was opened, we noticed chipping/holes in multiple spots. Again, after numerous calls, they finally sent someone out. They reported in the notes, “5 or 6 spots where calcium is bleeding through the walls. One chunk about half a golf ball size missing in floor of deep end”. He must have missed the other two holes in the shallow end.For the last three months, we have called and emailed the owner Andrew Everleigh (I believe Sr. retired) to follow up on the visit and how they can make this right. It took over a dozen calls/email to get this response from Andrew…“JasonWhen the company installed this product for your years ago there were no spots. There is no warranty to wear and tear items or a damaged product that we did not do. I wish there a better answer but this is not a bi-product of any work that was preformed. My team did not drive golf ball holes into your pool floor and whatever caused this must of fell in a with great force. If this was a bi-product of workmanship we had done it would have been an issue immediately not years after.”Incredible how a company like this simply dismisses their customers concerns and puts it back on you. Drive golf ball holes into your pool floor…Really after four years?I would not do business with this company if you are rehabbing an existing pool. All the research I have done points to the plaster not adhering to the substrate. It is clear the quality of this work is very subpar. While I know this probably wasn’t a huge job for Environmental, it was for us, and I feel like they had a quick hit and got out.Awful experience!Another year later, and plaster is coming up all along the bottom. Guess the golf balls keep hitting. Very poor workmanship.Another year (2026) more problems with the plaster, it’s coming up all over. I guess we use it as a driving range.
Utterly Unreliable and UnprofessionalAvoid Environmental Pools in Bolton MA at all costs! For over ten years, they happily took my money for simple pool closings. However, when I desperately needed them to fix a leaking hydrostatic valve last September, their true colors showed. Service rep Holly promised they'd schedule the repair, but that was a blatant lie.I spent months calling, only to be met with endless excuses and empty promises. They strung me along, never once committing to a service date. Their complete lack of professionalism is astounding. At the very least, they could have been honest and told me they weren't going to do the job, so I could find someone else. This company clearly doesn't care about its customers. Do yourself a favor and find a pool service provider that values your business and actually delivers on their promises. Environmental Pools is a complete waste of time and money.
We have invested a lot into our house in the last ten years, including a full gut of the interior, additions and finishing our basement. We added a swimming pool to our backyard in 2023 and used Environmental Pools to build it. We were lucky enough to be assigned to work with Chris Quin, the construction manager. The folks at EP, and Chris in particular, have been communicative, responsive and respectful. As in all major construction projects, we have had a few hiccups during the project. This year, we suffered some major problems since the project was completed. We had to have a full replacement of our pool equipment when a tree fell directly on it during a windstorm last spring. We have also had several auto cover malfunctions this season. Despite our project being fully completed, Chris Quin always answers my calls on the first ring. He harnesses the EP team to help us throughout, to be sure our pool is functioning so that we can enjoy it to the fullest extent. We also use Environmental Pools to maintain the pool weekly during the season and have found that to be a super convenience with excellent service. Compared to other contractors we have worked with in the past, our experience with Environmental Pools has earned the highest marks. Thank you, Chris and the EP Team!
I seldom rave about a company I have worked with, mostly because the final product and experience seldom resembles the promises made at the time of sale. Environmental Pools is the exception. Our pool project - managed by Chris Quin - could not have been a better experience. From start to finish, Chris and his team delivered on every promise. Every aspect of the project went entirely as promised. I don't have a single complaint. If you are considering the installation of a pool in Massachusetts, I can't think of any reason to look somewhere other than Environmental Pools. I have no relationship to this company other than being a very happy customer. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and especially Chris Quin to anyone in search of Massachusetts' finest pool installation contractors.
Andrew, Chris and the team at Environmental Pools were great to work with throughout the design and construction process. We built a beautiful family friendly pool last summer and are already counting the days until we open it again in the spring. I would highly recommend their services if you are considering a pool. They also stand behind their product. Any trouble I have had has been addressed immediately and without any questions.
