Erica Cerutti on Aqua Pools

We used Aqua Pools for the first time to open our inground pool and the experience has not been a good one to say the least. Let me preface this by saying I talked to a handful of people we know with inground pools before writing this review, all of whom said the opening process should not have been this difficult.

Two techs were sent to open our pool early 6/4. By the next morning, the pool was still the same exact swampy green, if not even darker. Our pool owner friends we sent photos to were shocked. The following day, we were then told over the phone to add 13 more gallons of chlorine. Within a few hours after my husband did that, it already looked better. The tech who was here said he's been doing this for 50 years...well you could have fooled us. He was clearly in a rush, didn't answer any basic questions, saw we were younger homeowners and simply said "you should be good. Just let it run for up to a week." Had we done nothing, our pool filter probably would have blown out.

I understand a pool opening service comes with a standard amount of chemicals. However, being that this company's model is "we don't leave until your pool is clear" and the tech's decades of experience, the absolute least he could have done is taken 5 seconds before he left to say, hey based on the color/condition of your pool, you're definitely going to need a whole lot more chlorine or shock to get things moving and we would be in a totally different spot today. The front desk even agreed the tech should have told us to at least bring a water sample in that day or say we'll likely need to add more today. But the complaint department could care less.

Must explain why no one in our subdivision who we've spoken to (where almost 40% of the homes have inground pools) have said they've used them.

Aqua Pools is the BEST!
We put in our pool a year ago, and Aqua Pools helped us turn our backyard into a true oasis. From the very beginning, the experience was smooth, organized, and fun! Tony was always just a call away whenever we had questions, and his responsiveness made the entire process feel seamless. The whole team was professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Aqua Pools to anyone dreaming of their own backyard paradise.

So we were very pleased with the overall process of working with Aqua Pools. They gave us a general timeline and an estimate on how long the project would take and the cost. They were right on track the whole time, there were no hidden costs and they were accommodating to any changes we wanted to make along the way. There was excellent communication with our project manager Tony and he was always quick to respond if we had any questions. Even after the project was completed he has made himself available for any questions. I highly recommend using Aqua Pools if you are shopping for a pool in your yard.

We have had such a great experience with Aqua Pools! Tony was wonderful to work with and Jim was a fantastic project manager (always willing to answer my questions in a timely manner). We have been enjoying our pool all season long and are sad to have to close it next month.
We also use Aqua Pools for our weekly pool maintenance and Bill has been excellent. He is always so friendly and takes the time to explain what he is doing and why. I really appreciate the customer service he provides!
My husband and I can't say enough good things about them! We are very pleased with our decision and would recommend them in a heartbeat!

We had a fiberglass pool installed this spring and Jim Jr and his crew were great. Very professional and easy to talk to. Any project of this scale will have have issues but Jim Jr was always accessible and resolved any issues that came up. Aqua pools installs over 100 pools a season and shows by their knowledge from start to finish. I proudly tell everyone that Aqua pools installed our pool and would absolutely recommend them.
