The whole team at SD Pools is amazing! Enrique, Chad, and Josh have been SO great to work with. We did a big backyard remodel and were initially trying to decide if we wanted to go with a landscaping company that would subcontract the pool just to keep it under one roof. I am so incredibly glad we didn't do that and chose to go with SD Pools instead.

We initially met with Josh, who walked us through everything (timeline, cost, the process, etc). Once the build started, we worked with our project manager, Enrique, who went above and beyond to make sure things happened in a timely fashion and that we would be happy with the final project. Chad has been handling our maintenance for the last month and has been absolutely fantastic. And they were always a text or call away to answer any silly questions throughout.

You can truly tell that this team takes pride in their work. They are communicative, easy to work with, above and beyond helpful, and the pool itself is absolutely gorgeous. Everything turned out exactly how we wanted. Got my baja shelf and we're ready to summer lol. I can't say enough good things!

San Diego pools was great!!! From the first meeting with Kenny, to meeting Cory the project manager and Chad who explained the operation of everything when the pool was completed was seamless. Anytime we had a question about the project Cory was there to explain the next step and assure us things were on time. Building a pool is a major financial decision, and San Diego pools took all the stress out of the project. I would highly recommend them if you are looking at building your dream pool.

My pool is complete: From the time I started this project, and it was just about a year ago, I was dreaming of having a pool. My fishpond for over 34 years of pure enjoyment was time to say goodbye. My Koi’s were special to me since I never bought one Koi. I got them as feeder fish for the pet shop. They grew and multiplied in the pond as the years went by. But unfortunately, the pond got a leak, and trying to locate it was imposable. I got “Koi Rescue” to come out and get all my fish, about 14 of them. Now it was time to start building a pool! There were two companies that I was considering for the pool project. After weeks of deciding, I chose San Diego Pools. When reading the reviews, I got good vibes, plus they have more 5 stars than the other pool maker, who we really don’t need to mention. San Diego Pools got the gears in motion with the permits and get ready to have lots of patience. Takes about 5 to 6 months to process the permits. Does give you time to get stuff ready before they start digging the pool.
The day arrived Nov 1st and equipment started to fill my backyard, then it began, the first load of dirt was taken out, then the second and before I knew it, I had a very large hole in the backyard. Just to go off in another direction was my front yard, on how nice it looked before they dug. After that, my lawn was destroyed. Expect damage to be done and clean up after all the work is done on the pool. In one month, I was quite impressed with the work. Hole was dug, pluming, rebar was placed in. Just after Thanksgiving, the Shot Creak was done, and there, I could see a pool being built. During the months of December and January, Copping and the title that goes inside the edge along the pool was installed, and a couple of other things were done too. Work was done to my waterfall from the fish pond, which got incorporated into the pool! Cleaning up some mounds of dirt, tranches were filled up. What they destroyed in construction was never put back, so get ready for more out of pocket expense. San Diego Pools were great. Everyone I worked with was very corruptive in getting it done right or the way I wanted my pool. Then, in February, the plaster was put in, and shortly after that, water was filling the pool.
It still took another month before we could go into the pool. I had it set up for Saltwater, so it took a little longer to establish the right water concertation. The pool is great and is very enjoyable as of today! Thank you to all the workers who worked hard in getting this project completed. Thank you, San Diego Pools, for creating a very cool pool!

If you're looking for a pool builder, save yourself the headache of looking around and just go with San Diego Pools. I spoke with six different companies and SO glad I chose San Diego Pools.

I could not be happier with my experience. Literally every individual I interacted with their office (from the office manager, to the design/sale, technicians, builders ect) was wonderful. They all displayed an exceptional level of professionalism, knowledge, and communication. Our project manager, Corey, was such a delight to work with. He demonstrated patience answering my countless questions and was incredibly knowledgeable about ever aspect of building a pool. I always asked for the pros and cons for every decision. Corey was able to provide a in-depth explanations, which helped me be an informed consumer. He checked in at every stage of the build, prior to being, to ensure I was happy with my choices. This level of communication ensured that we're no surprises once the work began. Something so simple, yet critical to a successful outcome!

Well, we signed our contract last September, the dig began in January and we were swimming the first of July (before the holiday!). We are thrilled with the end result, that is custom built and of high quality workmanship. Enrique was our project manager, and he managed the project from start to the finish line. No doubt the timeline went longer than anticipated, and we had some bumps along the way. I have to say when we had concerns or questions, we got the answers we needed. When you consider the macro environment of material shortages, lack of qualified and skilled workforce for all construction projects, and the record demand for homeowners installing pools, San Diego Pools delivered a superior product, fulfilled their contractual commitments and were true professionals the entire process. Best advice to any one looking for a pool, be patient, and stay with the top rated companies with a history of satisfying the customer. That is why we went with San Diego Pools, and Red was our initial contact and helped us design our end product. Our project had major changes to the initial strategy for the dig as you can see in the pictures with the entire side hill of our property excavated and then replaced, but yet San Diego Pools made it happen!
