This review might be redundant to many of the other 5 star reviews, but like others I had a crack in the floor of my 20 year old swim spa and Ian repaired it. Add to that good communication on price and arrival time; and he's very personable and willing to give guidance on other tub related maintenance that doesn't sound like a sales pitch.
I am extremely happy I found Ian to replace my Balboa chip board on my HydroQuip outdoor heater system (old board and new board photos attached). So many other companies would not even respond. I had considered tackling it myself and if I had, I would have fried the new board because Spa Depot did not configure the blower for 120V, they had it set at 240V. Not sure if I would have figured that out. Ian was very responsive, friendly and very fair priced. He had the new board replaced within an hour! I will be using him again once cooler temps arrive as I need some jets and an air control valve replaced (it is a former aboveground hot tub that we put in the ground 20 years ago). Highly recommend the Houdini!

If I could give them more than five stars, I absolutely would.We’ve used Hot Tub Houdini twice now for our large, older hot tub spa, and both experiences have been beyond exceptional.The first time we called around, we were quoted extremely high prices from several companies because our spa had a crack. Then we found Hot Tub Houdini — and not only did they come out quickly, but they repaired it at a very reasonable price. The work was excellent and has held perfectly for the last 3–4 months with no issues at all.More recently, one of our two motors went out. I was honestly nervous about how expensive that repair might be, especially since we had just dealt with the crack a few months earlier. But once again, the pricing was fair, the work was done correctly, and he took his time to make sure everything was fixed the right way. He’s extremely personable, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly cares about doing quality work.He even gave us great tips on possibly moving the hot tub in the future, and offered a very good price for pressure washing our lanai since we were already loyal customers — and we will definitely be using him for that, too.I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this company.
