Contemporary Pools exceeded my expectations. Stephanie was very thorough when I initially called about the issues with our pool pump and they had a quote over to me within the day. She even provided insight into steps to take in the interim while we had a winter storm. Brandon & John were knowledgeable and professional. They listened to my concerns, replaced our pump and took time to ensure all of the other components were working properly. In addition, they took addition steps to label and program waterfall features I wasn’t aware of. Communication was continuous - from my initial inquiry to post services to confirm I was satisfied. I will be utilizing Contemporary Pools for future needs and recommend them if you have a pool!

I had a great experience with Contemporary Pools for both a vinyl liner replacement and pool maintenance over the last year. I had hired another person to replace the liner 8 months prior who completely flaked on me. Contemporary pools saved the day by responding right away and getting the job done within 5 weeks during the busy season. They are not the cheapest in town but they do high quality work on time and that’s worth it in my book.UPDATE: I had a great experience with their vinyl replacement, I am sorry to have to downgrade this review… their service has gotten worse. We pay for the weekly full service contract and they sent an inexperienced tech to our house. Apparently the person completely messed up the chemicals and the pool turned green. We noticed it and told them about it 9 days in advance of our young daughter’s birthday pool party (with a bunch of her friends) so thought that would be plenty of notice to get it under control. But after multiple attempts they have not been able to do the basics of pool maintenance and get it back to its normal sparkling condition. Sorry to have to give them a poor review and cancel the pool party. Half a dozen little girls are even more sorry ??Update to the update: their team has worked hard to get the pool back to sparkling condition. So while we missed the bday party, I’ve upped the rating accordingly. Mistakes happen and admitting and fixing them is what’s important.(Side note: in response to the comment from the business, our pump was working just fine - the inexperienced tech just didn’t know how to turn it on.)
So far very good, job still in process. Will update when completed. Photos are before and during the renovation.UPDATE: Job completed today (4/25/24). Everything new except the “hole”. New steps, vermiculite, liner and deck pavers. Exceptional work and fantastic results.
If you are looking for a company that cares about their customers, that’s willing to put forth FAR above “normal” efforts, a company that is reliable and trust worthy, who is kind and honest… you’ve found them!!! I cannot say enough good things about Contemporary Pool Works. Our experience has been nothing short of amazing! Stephen, Stefanie, Bill Justin, Rosta, Gary… and so many others made our backyard transform in a few short months (2 to be exact)!!!!! We had to have a complete renovation and installation.Having your backyard be a construction zone with small children can seem like a headache… but we’ve enjoyed every step of the process! They even took the time to include our children!!!! We love Contemporary Pool Works, and all they stand for; so much so that we are going to start another project with them! If you’re on the fence or just started researching for the “right” contractor for the job… give them a call! YOU WON’T BE SORRY!
