Wade in the Water Pool Services has been a lifesaver for us. I bring my water in to get it tested for free, and whatever it needs, they tell me exactly how much to add and how to fix anything I have gotten off with the chemicals. They were the original installer of the heater and salt cell when we bought the house, and their sticker was right there on the equipment, so anytime something went sideways I could call and they would check the warranties on those products for me. Some of it they were able to replace without charging me at all, and other things they came in and fixed themselves. They do charge a fee to come out when something is wrong, and you are never obligated to use them, but in my opinion they are the best in town, and I will keep using them for absolutely everything. The service is professional, they are incredibly helpful, and they never once make me feel stupid when I do not have things quite right.
Avoid, avoid, avoid. My wife signed up for regular service for our pool. This only lasted a month before we had enough of their incompetence. The first person that serviced our pool vacuumed leaves directly to our skimmer and plugged up the suction line. I had an inline strainer basket right there ready to use, but they chose not to use it. It took me 3 hours to clear the line and get water circulating again.The next person to service the pool only cleaned the skimmer and brushed the sides. Our pool was turning green, but he never used algicide or any other treatment besides 3 Chl tablets, and he NEVER vacuumed as he claimed on all of the route reports.Plus, this guy couldn't stop talking on the phone, cussing, dropping f-bombs while complaining that our pool was too big. 1. This company is under new ownership as of the past year and a half.... Beware.... I've dealt with multiple issues at different properties that I own. I recently hired them to fix a pool heater. They did repair the pool heater but in doing so, they created another problem. They sent a tech back out in attempt to repair the secondary issue that they created. The issue was not resolved. When I called back to have them come take a second look, they attempted to collect a service fee. I told them I wasn't interested in paying a service fee for an issue that they created and would call a different company. The woman I spoke with on the phone said she understood and sent a tech out which was supposed to be free of charge. The tech fixed the issue. I received an invoice for the service fee after the fact. I assumed this was an accounting mistake. I called to try to resolve the billing issue and to understand why I was being billed for an issue that they created which I was told I wouldn't be billed for. The lady on the phone had the owner named Jeff call me back. Jeff attempted to justify billing me for the issue that his company created. Jeff had a very unprofessional and poor attitude. Jeff ended up getting flustered and just hung up the phone on me.2. The condo complex at which I own a unit at has had issues since the new owners took over as well. We (condo complex) are currently looking to hire a new pool company as a result of the unprofessionalism and lack of integrity displayed by the new ownership.
I have been very pleased with the service I receive from Wade in the Water. My pool maintenance guy, Ricky, does a great job every week and is always helpful with questions or concerns I may have. They are very responsive to any maintenance issues that come up and always get things resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend them for your pool service needs.
