I’ve had good experiences with Dolphin in the past, which makes this especially disappointing.Over the past few months, I’ve had ongoing issues with my hot tub that have not been properly resolved. There have been multiple service visits, but new problems continue to arise. Most recently, the spa has shown persistent “NO FLO” errors and has also overheated to unsafe temperatures (up to 120°), requiring me to shut it off manually. Bullfrog did cover a part replacement under warranty but the installation was poor and the hot tub continued to leak and there has been a new issue with air flow.In addition to the mechanical issues, communication and scheduling have been inconsistent. I’ve experienced delays in follow-up, confusion around appointments, and a few times the service providers no-showed.I understand that repairs can take time, but the lack of resolution and coordination has made it so I haven’t been able to use my hot tub reliably for more than a short period at a time.I hope the company can improve both their service follow-through and communication.
The best pool hot tub support supplies company in SLC. They are really easy to work with. Super knowledgeable. Nice. Helpful. Personable without being annoying. If I had any friends, I would tell them to come here.
My wife and I had dreamed of a hot tub for a while. We knew that if we got a hot tub it would be a Bullfrog because of the quality, reputation and being a local business. We went to the showroom and met Susan. Susan educated us on the tubs and sent us to the home and garden expo that was going on nearby. We met Chris there and bought the M7 model. Chris and Susan are amazing. The showroom is beautiful. If you are uncomfortable or uncertain how to maintain your hot tub they explain everything and provide all the chemicals and confidence you will need to be comfortable. The tub was delivered and set up professionally by Bullfrog partners. Thank you Chris and Susan. We love our new hot tub.
I spoke with Mark at last weekends event and he was great. Answered all of my questions and gave me some helpful tips. Enough so that I purchased the unit we spoke about and they are delivering it in a couple weeks. I am excited to get it all set up.
WARNING – DO NOT BUY this spa from them.In October of 2023 we purchased the Bull Frog A series spa through the sales guy at the Costco from Dolphin Pools and Spa in SLC for almost 15K. It is complete garbage or perhaps we were sold a lemon. First of all, it was so poorly designed that they had to do a new chemical tray behind the seat because it was burning through chemicals too quickly. They also don’t tell you that you cannot find said chemical dispensers anywhere else but here to trap you into driving to SLC to buy it only from them. Then, even though it was their bad design on said tray- they made you buy the new design to improve how the distribution is done in the water. This spa has had nothing but problems. Cheep plastic sides where the side panel broke, the lights for the cup holders and water feature have gone out over and over again even after being replaced under warranty. Then here is the kicker. The cover was bowing after only one year. I reach out and Kay filed a claim in April of 2025 but after months of back and forth I finally had enough and just ate it and paid another almost $600 instead. Then come to find out, you have to buy a cover for your cover to ensure it doesn’t do the same bowing again. FAIR warning, get a cover for the cover since they don’t make anything quality that will last. I ordered the cover and the cover for the cover on November 25, 2025 being told it would be here in 2 weeks. I called to find out what was going on and on December 18, 2025 was told that one of the covers was there but not the other. I spoke to him about that we were out of town until after the new year and since the other cover for the cover wasn’t there yet we would just wait and to let me know once it arrived and we would come. No one ever notified us, so we took a chance and got a truck to go there on this last Tuesday. Come to find out, our new cover that I paid almost $600 for is gone, and given to someone else. Now, I have to either accept 10% off one that is opened that was probably a return because it is more defective than the one I paid for or wait again another several weeks for another to arrive. I asked if they would be offering delivery now since this was their mistake and I got told that they sold it to someone else because it was there for over 3 weeks. Even though, they were to contact me once the other cover arrived and never did. Wouldn’t you think someone would call me or reach out to let me know the other one arrived and that everything is ready for pick up? Nope, let’s just sell the one I bought to someone else. I asked Karen to have the owner call me on Wednesday. I have still not heard from him and it is now 2 days later.Karen – is very kind and really tries her best. I feel bad for her that she probably deals with this day in and out.Chris- the new tech is very kind and has really great follow up.I miss Kay- he was a great repair man and really knew the spas well. He spoke highly of Bullfrog spas however; I do not feel the same.The people working there are great, just sad they have to sell such a garbage product.
