Watch out! Suncrest Pools did a complete remodel of my pool 10 years ago. The owner sounded knowledgeable and provided references. However, they cut corners, were untrustworthy and never finished the job. He wouldn't fix the mistakes and stopped taking my calls.Why write a review now? Because EVERY weekend when I go to battle my pool I think of Suncrest Pools. They used 90 degree elbows instead of sweeps restricting circulation, they didn't spread the outlets enough (lazy) so now my pool circulation is poor so I ALWAYS get algae in the same spots just because the water isn't circulating well no matter how much or high I run the pump. The surface of the pool is like sandpaper because they didn't brush it often enough after so the kids toes are always chewed up after a day in the pool. As you will see in the picture, they didn't even push the metal on the walls back far enough into the plaster, so about a year later I have nice rust spots that you can't make go away because the metal is in the wall... Looking at the pool when it's done you think great, looks good. Then over the next days, weeks, and years you will learn of all the problems you are stuck with because they did a terrible job.Don't believe me, find their CA Contractor's License number on their website. Can't find it? They are required by law to put it on their website. It's not there, because they don't want you to check it. That should tell you all you need to know.STAY AWAY or you'll spend the next 10 years cursing Suncrest Pools every time you look at your pool like me. When I had my pool done the owner was Mike. Looks like they might have a new owner since 2018. If they worked for Mike before, I'd be careful. Most of the problem was he didn't supervise his crews carefully and they just did whatever they felt like.
Best company I have ever dealt with! They are honest, clean, and professional.
Underpromise and over deliver is what Suncrest did for us. We were blown away at the speed and quality of their work. They advised us of the process and lived up to the timeline. After 18 months we had a washer fall in the pool and a rust stain had formed. They sent someone out when we told them and removed it with some magic formula. 10/10 for Suncrest from us. We have a beautiful pool now!

I needed my pool at my Coronado home replastered and I did not want to try it myself since I did not have the experience of knowledge of how to do it. I watched them perform the work and I am so glad I called them. It was much more involved than I thought it would be and you really need a professional who knows what they are doing so you don't end up with any leaks or other problems. I highly recommend giving these guys a call they really know what they are doing.
