We had a great experience with Wells Pools from start to finish. The process moved quickly, and they immediately handled the permitting process for our gas heater and pool/spa setup, which was especially important because our situation was being grandfathered in. Their communication throughout the project was excellent.

The quality of work is superb, with great attention to detail at every stage. Like any large project, we ran into a couple of issues along the way, but Joel, the owner, resolved everything quickly and professionally. With over 40 years in the pool building business, it’s clear he genuinely cares about his clients and stands behind his work and customer satisfaction.

Their follow-up on even minor issues was clear, concise, and prompt. Since all pool builders rely on subcontractors, responsiveness after installation is important, and Wells Pools was impeccable in that regard.

We also appreciated the broad tile selection available, along with the knowledgeable experts at the tile manufacturer who helped guide the design choices.

Our backyard has a very awkward shape, but Andrew designed a pool layout that not only fit the space perfectly, but also added dimension and improved the overall look of the yard.

We also chose to use their recommended turf expert, which made the process much easier by creating a true one-stop-shop experience.

We’ve posted a few photos already and will share more once the landscaping and turf are complete. We highly recommend Wells Pools to anyone looking for quality workmanship, strong communication, and a team that truly cares about the final result.

We were exceptionally pleased with the professionalism of each person who worked on our project and give our highest recommendations to Wells Pools. We had an extremely challenging situation in the hills in Vacaville. We were taking out an existing pool from the 1980s and transforming the backyard into an adult oasis. The elevation changes between the house and the retaining wall presented unique challenges. From the first day that Joel met with us, we could see that he was intrigued about the job. He did an exceptional job designing the pool, listening to our inputs and dreams, and modifying plans until we had a design that fit everything we wanted. Working with Wells Pools was a pleasant experience from the first day until the pool was turned over to us. Each team from excavation led by Miguel, to plumbing and electrical led by Steffen, to Tommy the tile savant, Mike the Project Manager and Joel, the designer, as well as the Decking Team, Gunite and pebble crew were highly skilled professionals, easy to work with and clearly took pride in their work. They kept the construction site as clean as possible, don’t get me wrong, when you tear out and build a pool, your yard is going to look like a war zone for several months. But each team did mini cleanups each day, and there were a couple days that a cleanup crew just came in and did a major overhaul of things like picking up wood, pvc and extra concrete laying around. I never saw anything like discarded water bottles or cigarette butts anywhere. We gained much needed usable patio space, where one there were steps everywhere, garden planters to soften the concrete near the house, a hot tub that we use all the time and the most incredible view of water to hills. Now we not only have the best view in our neighborhood, we also have the best pool.
