I cannot say enough good things about this place. They have some of the kindest, most knowledgeable, and best workers there to help you with your pool care. They actually LISTEN to my concerns and genuinely try to help with the issue at hand.I am having to drive to Enterprise now because all our local pool places have closed down, and nowhere have I been treated like I am treated at this place. I am comfortable in trusting that they are telling me what is best for my pool care every visit.
In 2016, Hughe’s Pools installed my saltwater pool and old man Hughes claimed it would last 30 years. By 2019 the coping began to corrode, and I managed the issue with repeated rinses of fresh water. By 2025 the damage had progressed to the point that the liner was pulling away, and Hughes Pools suggested using roofing nails to reattach it in which the current liner was 3 years old- which I declined. After numerous calls, they proposed that the fixes would require a new liner and wall-mounted coping. I paid a deposit, but when installation day arrived The technician advised that I wouldn’t be happy with wall-mounted coping and recommended a stainless steel strip around the pool as a better-looking alternative similar to the original install, so I agreed.Following the installation, the liner continued to pop out in spots. After driving to Montgomery to deal with it in person Donna arranged a service visit, and a different technician came out and said the previous work was poorly done and needed to be redone. We were told that he would inform Donna. Donna never called or arranged for it to be repaired.Since then, communication has been extremely difficult. After months of trying to reach Donna, I finally spoke with her again, and she framed the situation as if I’d been a persistent problem rather than a paying customer expecting the agreed repairs. She implied she had been dealing with me for a year and acted as I was trying to take advantage, while I was simply seeking the repairs I paid for.The overall experience has been frustrating and unsatisfactory, and I’m seeking a proper resolution that aligns with the work I paid for and the expectations set at the outset.
We recently had a pool installed and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The price was more than fair, no hidden costs or upcharges, the employees were outstanding and Gina, our guide through the process was exceptional and the work was completed in a verytimely manner. Thank you,
The liner on our pool that we were told by the previous owners was installed by Hughes. It is falling out in several places. We called them to come look at it as it was still in warranty. They never called back. We went to the physical store and filled out the paperwork required for them to come out. We never heard from them. We tried again this summer. They did finally call back and send two technicians to look at it. Then they never called back or followed up. Now it’s not in warranty but I’m sure we will never hear from them so I guess it doesn’t really matter. Find someone else that cares about our business
Giving 2 stars because the pool is functional as a pool. The cement pad however is very poorly done with bulging walls, big pits, poor fitting hand rail and latter. Was told the owner was aware and has the photos as well as working on making it right. I have called 3 times in 4-5 weeks and keep being told by Vanessa she will reach back out to him and call me back. To date I’m the only one calling. I’m not asking for much. Maybe stain the pad, to make it less noticeable, I’m not sure what to do which is why I was asking for advice.Since the prior review, Roger had been in contact and corrected as well as possible the pool pad and actually turned out very good. Given latest experience I raised my rating
