We were referred to Gilby Pools from multiple people and after calling them and going through the process with them, I can see why. They installed a 16x32 saltwater pool in our backyard. Gilby Pools were very knowledgeable and really helped with the overall build & design. Jacob made some suggestions to help get the most out of our pool and layout while also educating us about the build and things to steer away from. Everyone seems to love the full length bench we put in the deep end and the extended steps/bench in the shallow end. We also added inserts around the pool so we can add umbrellas for shade as needed.All the pool equipment seemed a little overwhelming at first, but he explained how everything works and how to operate it. I certainly recommend their services for a job like this.
Gilby built our custom pool in 2022 and we couldn’t be happier with the service, quality, and attention to detail. They worked with us from design through final installation making sure we loved everything. They also had many more opportunities to customize the pool than anyone else we talked to in the area. Contacted Gilby’s via phone in early March to discuss having our inground pool liner replaced. Gentleman told me it should be no problem to have this done by before Memorial Day and he just needed to take measurements. Gave him all of my info, address etc and he texted me a link to choose a liner.In early April I hadn’t heard from them about measurements so I contacted them via email asking for an update. No answer.By late April I hadn’t heard back so I texted the same person explaining I was still waiting to hear about a measurement and reiterated all my info. Since we both have iPhones I saw he read my message and I waited 3 days. No response.I contacted another company and had an estimate and measurement date within a week and an install for early June.I shouldn’t have to chase a company and beg them to take my money. They may be highly recommended but that doesn’t mean anything if they never respond or do the work. Very disappointing and shameful.
