Reviews

What customers say

Customers praise the pool work, customer support and spa-care advice, and one specifically credits a crew with punctual, efficient work completed on time. The less positive feedback spans an uncomfortable interaction during a hot-tub test-strip visit and a spa sale followed by delivery weeks after payment, a missed promised setup visit and incorrect chemical directions over the phone.

The outside of this business is so inviting! You will find colorful tables and signs that say "60% off!" You walk into a showroom with some exciting and inviting items for your backyard oasis. My boyfriend and I just bought a house and it came with a hot tub-a first for both of us. We were excited to find a store that specialized in pools and spas! The most *unfortunate part is the owner. We went in to simply buy hot tub test strips. We were side swiped by the owner who was going to 'help us' She treated us as though we were being screened for adopting a child. She was anxious with a superior tone that would make anyone feel scolded. It was uncomfortable to be around her. There was no browsing or space to look for the supplies-because she definitely owned the room. We wore masks and were respectful to maintain social distance. We simply were quiet and stayed on task asking for test strips. She went on and on about how she 'always has to educate people about their spas.' He voice was loud and she would eye each of us-looking us up and down. At one point my boyfriend said, 'so do you not want to sell us the test strips?' After we were scolded and schooled on our spa we left feeling just icky. Why would anyone ever shop there? Best wishes if you dare to enter...

Our old in-ground pool was showing its age and needed to be renovated or filled in. I reached out to Mike at NW Pool and he quickly came by to assess the situation. After discussing our options, he prepared a very thorough estimate and answered all of my questions with professionalism. He was very easy to work with and everything went perfectly. Our new pool has all new automated heating and chemical systems. It's looks and feels like a brand new pool. I recommend him to anyone that needs a new or renovated pool.

What an amazing company to do business with! We bought our spa a few years ago from NW Pool and Spa and have been totally satisfied with our spa and the wonderful customer service provided. Jason and Wendy have been great in answering questions, providing advice and offering tips. Recently we had to replace our pump and Jason quickly and expertly installed a new one at no cost because it was still under warranty. We highly recommend this company for all your pool and spa needs.

Northwest Pool provided me with outstanding service and support. They were very reasonable with their pricing and the results were excellent. Mike and his crew were punctual and worked very efficiently to get the job done on time. I visited their store on 5th street to get supplies found a store filled with numerous pool and spa products. As a past business owner myself I can highly recommend Northwest Pool & Spa as quality and professional organization that can deliver top rated results.

Nightmare with Northwest Spa days before Halloween I purchased a new spa from Northwest Pool and Spa, they promised to order our spa upon deposit. They also promised to come out two days after to help us get our spa up and running with chemical setup and upkeep and care. We paid our spa in full and expected to receive it days after we paid for it. Weeks later we had our spa delivered at their convenience. The spa was delivered and the actual delivery was pleasant, except the cover we ordered with our spa was incomplete and a new part had to be ordered. This is where service became non-existent and Northwest made us feel like they were doing us a favor instead of appreciating us for purchasing a spa from them. Two days came and I called to see what time they were coming because they assume you have no life and your schedule revolves around them, I was then informed that no one was coming and the cover and chemicals would happen at their time frame. I expressed my displeasure and the phone call ended (someone hung up on me?)I called back disgusted with the situation and an explanation on how to put chemicals in my spa were coming over the phone. The best part was the directions I received were incorrect and I was left with a new spa with a chemical soup that I was sure was incorrect. I ended up buying new chemicals from affordable spas who gave me instruction from his shop on how to care for my spa. They also gave me a phone # to call in case I had trouble which I didn’t because they gave me good information. Days later I received a call that the part they ordered had come in so I gave them a time when I would be home so they could install my incomplete sale. When they came out I inquired how many tops they must have installed and the owner told me numerous. I then watched in disbelief as he searched the instructions on how to install it. Then I was informed that this must be the wrong one and a call to the vendor must be made. Days go by and I receive a call they want to come install the top. I give them a time when I would be home and I get a call they would like to come by my house when I am not home. Fortunately I was able to be home when they arrived not that it mattered much. When they got there the owner not once acknowledged me, I tried to interact to get some input and was ignored completely. Feeling unwelcome in my own yard I left the owner of Northwest to finish installing my top in private. Thinking he would let me know when he was finished and show me how the top operated I waited inside. My wife asks me when they finished installing the top and I told her I didn’t even know they left. I called Northwest to see if a part was missing or if they were done because they didn’t bother to tell us anything THEY JUST LEFT. Apparently they finished and didn’t bother to let us inspect it or to say thanks for buying a spa from us, JUST LEFT! I hope I never need warranty work I’d hate to ask for a favor from the company I bought my spa from. I have one positive and that goes to Jason the salesman. I purchased the spa because of his character and knowledge and I love the product we purchased. I will look for a different company to buy from in the future, someone who appreciates when you spend your money at their business. (This is a brief description to our nightmare there is more I just didn’t want to be wordy)
