I called to request an appointment, expecting a wait but hoping for less than the three weeks I had been offered by another spa service company. Jeff happened to be nearby and on his way home so he offered to stop by right then. He was at my house within minutes and my hot tub was fixed and ready to use again in less than a half-hour! Amazing! He was also able to sell me supplies I needed from his van which saved me a trip to the store. Jeff was super friendly and his hot tub knowledge (of all spa brands) was solid. I will recommend him to friends without hesitation. I especially appreciate him taking the time to provide spa tips and education on my brand and model since I inherited this spa when I purchased the house and knew very little about it. Thanks Apex Spa Service!
I rarely leave negative reviews because I genuinely try to support local businesses and often recommend them to friends and neighbors. We hired them to replace two specific parts on our hot tub. I stayed home the entire day for the repair, but the technician completed the work and left without speaking to us or confirming that everything was working. The company later told me the technician knocked on the door (there were three people in the house and no one heard anyone) and that they had the wrong phone number. Even if that's true, they also had our email address and made no attempt to contact us before closing out the job. That same Friday evening, I reached out because the hot tub still wasn't working. I also noticed the heating—which had been working before the repair—was no longer working. My concern wasn't about paying. It was that I hadn't even had the opportunity to verify whether the repair I hired them to perform had been successful.Instead of addressing those concerns, I was told any further inspection would require another paid service call. During our phone conversation, I felt bullied into paying for the first visit before anyone was willing to discuss whether the original repair had actually resolved the issue.I paid because I believe in paying for work performed and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. In return, I expected some accountability and a willingness to stand behind their work before asking me to pay for another visit. What disappointed me most wasn't the repair itself—it was the complete lack of customer service. I felt dismissed and spoken to as though I was trying to avoid paying, when I was actually the one who reached out immediately after the repair because no one from the company had followed up.Unfortunately, this experience changed my opinion completely. I had already recommended this company to a neighbor, but after the way this was handled, I let them know about my experience instead. Good customer service isn't just about replacing parts—it's about standing behind your work, communicating with your customers, and treating them with respect when something doesn't go as planned.
We've had Jeff and his son Cameron out to our older hot tub on Camano Island several times for miscellaneous repairs. We have been so happy with their service and pricing! I've been absolutely dumbfounded that they have had the parts needed on their vans every time! This has saved us time and money with no second visit needed. Our cover blew off and broke in a recent wind storm and to our surprise again, they had it in stock and delivered, installed and hauled the old one away last week at a fair price! These guys are great and go above and beyond to make sure everything is working and answer all of our questions before leaving. You absolutely won't go wrong hiring this father and son team!
We've used Apex a couple of times starting in 2023. They were on time, reasonably priced, and did the job expertly. The replacement parts worked and are still working.
I am so glad I found Jeff (Apex Spa Service)! The plumbing/spa repair company I had been working with was robbing me blind!Jeff came in, repaired and replaced my swim spa pump and was quick, professional and great to work with.He helped me understand what I needed to know about the swim spa and at a very reasonable price.Thank you Jeff!!!
