He was more than willing and helpful - spent 20 minutes on Google Meet and he answered questions and gave me the insight I was looking for. That's great customer service - even though I'm not a current customer. But you should be. Thanks Henry!!

I had a great experience with K & D from beginning to end. Obed was very friendly, informative and professional. The team arrived on time and ready to work. They were all extremely safe in removing the underground propane tank. They perfectly filled the hole and leveled by grafting so we didn’t need to buy new gravel and dirt. He operated the backhoe like it was his hand. I highly recommend and look forward to future projects!!

We recently built a new home and chose K and D contracting to add a patio off the back. We are so happy with the whole process. Anthony was prompt in answering our initial inquiry online and guided us through choosing the right design (we chose stamped concrete). They provided images from previous work with different color schemes. The workers were always prompt and hard working. (Hardest workers I have ever seen!!!!) We made some last min changes to the stairs day of install and were receptive and worked them into the design. We had a little issue with the sealant bubbling due to our yard in the back is full sun and it was very hot those days They were great and sent someone right out to fix it. Overall I can’t recommend them enough. I will be using them again on other projects

K&D completed some excavation work for us and we are so happy with the results! They went above and beyond in the re-grading of our back yard.....In addition to finding a way to use the excess dirt from the project in our yard so we didn't have to haul it away, they also completed the grading and sloping of our yard in a way to better manage water runoff from storms (which we used to have issues with) and created a gorgeously sloped back yard that is fully functional with lots of usable area. I didn't think our yard had the potential that they made happen! The employees were great to work with, they take a lot of care and pride in their work, and communication was top notch. We will definitely hire them again for other projects and will recommend them to our friends and family!

Last year my husband and I learned we were expecting our third bundle of joy. We knew our growing family needed a larger space and began researching building companies. During our research, my husband learned of K&D Contracting through a co-worker who had the pleasure of working with them. After meeting with multiple building companies, we decided to sign a contact with K&D Contracting. As law enforcement officers, my husband and I wanted to confirm the building company we used was licensed and the employees working under the company were honest and fair.

My husband and I met with the owners of the company, Obed and Henry Sorto on numerous occasions before the work began. They provided honest feedback and gave us numerous suggestions to make sure the addition was comprised of the space we needed for our family and featured the design we had imagined. They equally took into account our budget making the space we needed affordable.

Once K&D Contracting broke ground, they worked tirelessly to get our home completed in a fast and efficient manner. Obed and Henry gave us updates each and every day as to the progress of their work and what we could expect in the days ahead. There were no surprises with Obed and Henry due to their diligent work ethic and ability to communicate each and every step of the building process in an easy to understand manner. We were frequently surprised with the amount of work completed each day.

The work completed by Henry, Obed and their team consisted of a 2500 square foot addition onto our existing home. The interior featured a large downstairs room, comprised of a custom projection screen and speakers carefully molded into the walls to create a seamless look. While the upstairs encompasses a large master bedroom and bathroom, and two kid’s bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom. The bathrooms feature custom tiles we hand selected, complemented by granite countertops and custom granite molding. The designs of our bathroom were due to the recommendations made by Obed and Henry. They sat down with us on multiple occasions to explain the benefits and disadvantages to implementing or withholding features in our addition.

We are pleased to say Obed and Henry not only met our expectation, but exceeded them exponentially. Their workmanship encompassed features of our existing home to ensure a seamless transition between the existing home and the addition. At the conclusion of our addition, we were overwhelmed by the magnitude of their work and truly felt they turned our addition into the home we had dreamed for our family.

We plan to use K&D Contracting for future projects my husband and I have planned and would recommend using them for any and all projects rather it be building an addition, adding a new feature to your existing home or making a repair, you will not be disappointed!
