Reviews

What customers say

Pool-care customers praise attentive maintenance and clear explanations; John is singled out for answering questions, and one customer appreciated his flagging more serious issues for management. A customer whose jacuzzi stones were damaged in an ice storm appreciated the crew’s repeated attempts to find stones matching the old ones after an exact match proved unavailable, while a pool-and-pavilion customer said the project came in on time and on budget despite weather and inspection delays.

Tropix has been maintaining my pool for several years, and I have been very happy with their service. John Reece is the pool tech, and he is awesome, he really takes the time to do a great job, is always ready if I have any questions, and lets me know if there’s anything out of the ordinary needed. I have recommended him to a couple of neighbors (my next door neighbor actually asked me for his contact, after seeing how much longer he worked on my pool compared with the tech that was servicing hers - from a different company). This year, I also asked them to fix some jacuzzi stones after they got damaged in the last ice storm. They did a fantastic job! Really made a effort to find stones that matched my old ones, which took them multiple attempts, after not being able to find an exact match. The finished job looks great! Very happy also with the crew - very nice people, and clearly taking pride in doing a great job.

We hired Tropix to transform our backyard into the entertaining space of our dreams and they did not disappoint. From the initial consultation, to the last day of the job, Tropix staff was professional, attentive, and accessible. Dan, the owner, adeptly guided us through the design, estimate, construction, and inspection phases with professionalism and patience. Despite hitting significant weather and inspection delays beyond their control, Tropix still delivered on time and on budget. We couldn’t have asked for a better pool and pavilion-building experience. We’d highly recommend Tropix pools to anyone looking for a pool builder they can trust. In fact, we already have!

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Tropix Pools structure a new-pool project?

The process starts with a discovery call and in-person assessment, followed by a design proposal and deposit. Construction begins after the deposit, with project managers on site frequently to keep clients informed.

Does Tropix Pools require a survey for a new pool design and permits?

A survey is needed for a 3D pool design and permit submission; the company handles most of the work.

What timeline does Tropix give for pool renovations?

A tile, coping or resurfacing job may take a few weeks; projects adding spas, outdoor kitchens, shade areas or turf have a typical 30–90-day guide from initial assessment.
