Had a very expensive pool installed by Shawn and crew. The Hot tub has NEVER worked properly and we’re going on year 5. The liner already needs replacing and the lights quit working a year or so ago. Don’t expect their products to work properly or last.To give Shawn credit, he had his tech out many times to try and fix the hot tub, however it never was resolved and to this day still doesn’t work. Eventually he just stopped returning our calls. I even bought a new blower myself as the original shorted out and he refused to replace. There are many pool companies in the Triad, I’d recommend going somewhere else for your pool install and find someone that knows what they’re doing.
We got our liner pool in 2019. Please consider that it takes time to get a pool installed with various teams. Each team has their own expertise from surveying, digging, framing, cementing, etc.We met Shawn, the owner who presented a very competitively priced pool with all of the details specified. In the end, he delivered a beautiful pool exactly as budgeted.His prices were the most competitive in the area and his people know pools. They are like second or third generation pool company. They need a trophy case for all of the awards that they have received.Since then, we are not under a service contract. Every time I call for help or a question, Guilford has been there to help. It may take some time to get to us but consider the economics of high demand. They are excellent, friendly and I recommend that you get a quote.
Guilford Pools built our pool and we are extremely happy. We love the professionalism of their crews - all did a great job making sure the pool operates properly and the follow up has been wonderful. Sean helped guide me along the way for making selections, and it’s exceeded my expectations - it was definitely the way to go. We appreciate that they are local, family-run and have their general contractor's license - tons of experience and it shows. We talked to a lot of other pool builders and friends with pools before choosing Guilford Pools - the simplicity of the operation of their pool is totally different than what most people expect of pools - the technology is incredible - Sean was right. I can operate the heater and lights from my phone. Our pool looks great and the family is enjoying all of the quality outside time, even into late October!
Guilford pools out my pool in several years ago.I have called for the last 3 years wanting a price on replacing my liner but I never get a response. It should not be hard they don't even have to come look at it just refer to there records to see what style was installed and return my call.Or teach someone how to look up something and give a price instead of always saying I'll have Shaun call you.
I've literally called this business 12 times between June and August to get someone to come and give me a quote to repair my pool light and fix two places in my liner that's sagging (that they installed several years ago) but nobody ever calls me back. I keep leaving messages with the lady that works there but Sean, the owner, has never once returned my call. I've decided they don't stand behind their work and they don't need any new business!
