Extremely disappointed with the service and outcome. The job we were promised was abandoned, leaving us to hire another company to fix a pool leak that was included in the original estimate. Writing this review isn’t something I enjoy, but I feel compelled to share our experience.

Henry assured us the leak would be fixed, and scheduled someone to come out on a Saturday—no one showed up, nor did we receive any notification. I called him, and he rescheduled for Tuesday, but again, no one showed up, and no updates were given. I followed up with texts, calls, and voicemails for two more days and still didn’t get a response—not even a text back. As a paying customer, I expected at least basic communication.

Finally, I found another phone number and got in touch with Maria, who said she’d reach out to Henry and call me back. Maria did follow up, but informed me the company was too busy to complete the job, leaving us no choice but to hire another company.

We paid $3,924, which included payment for the brick pavers to cover their subcontractor costs. They replaced about 310 square feet of pavers, even though the estimate was for 360 square feet. When I measured, it was clear they replaced less than quoted. Additionally, they wanted to charge $400 for 90 new bricks (not included in the estimate), which seemed excessive. After discussing this with Henry, he reduced the charge to $200—but even then, they didn’t end up needing to replace 35 of those 90 bricks.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of paying them before the job was completed. Payment was made on time via Zelle, as promised, but the primary reason we hired them—fixing the pool leak—was never addressed. Since the pavers needed to be removed to access the leak, we decided to combine both jobs and go with one company to simplify the process. They had good reviews, and Henry came across as professional and trustworthy during the estimate, which made our choice all the more disappointing.

The mess they left behind added insult to injury. Around the pool, there was dust, sand, and rocks everywhere. I had to clean everything up myself and move the furniture back into place. The pool itself was left in worse condition, with sand, rocks, and even a few brick pavers left inside. They pulled out the end caps around the pool intakes but never replaced them. To top it off, the worst section of sagging bricks was left untouched, even though it was directly where they had stacked the bricks during the project (photos attached).

In summary, we are extremely disappointed with the lack of communication, the missed appointments without any notification, and the abandonment of the job. For any company, this level of unresponsiveness and disregard for commitments is completely unacceptable.
