We recently worked with Marc and his team on our back-yard project. My wife and I were both extremely impressed with Marc from our first meeting. The promptness of his communication and thoroughness of his proposal was top-notch. We felt very comfortable and were ready to move forward with our project during that first meeting.When the work began in our back-yard, we were equally impressed with the crew and crew leaders. We received communication on a daily basis regarding our project - the updates were nice as we knew who was coming to our home each day.The quality of the finished work was also wonderful. We love the back-yard they helped us create and are excited to entertain friends and family in our back-yard for years to come!

Grand Family Pool (GFP) is the best of the best and I highly recommend them for all your pool needs! If you’re thinking of getting a gunite pool, they are the only great choice in the Indy area. They installed a 16x36’ pool that was 3.5” to 6.5” deep and did an outstanding job! The work was done in under 2 months and stayed within our budget!Bidding: I got almost everyone that does gunite pools in the Indy area to give me a bid. GFP was the only one to give me a complete bid from the beginning. Most gave me ballpark numbers but would leave out critical items like removing the excavated dirt or filling the pool with water. When I’d ask the other companies about removing the dirt, it would be an extra charge and one company suggested I leave it and keep it as dirt mounds. (One company told me to go to their website and price it out and contact them if I wanted to move forward.) Most companies were running around like chickens with their heads cut off during the bidding process. These companies would come one day, not show up or follow up at all and then come unexpectedly 2-3 weeks later to do something in regards to the bid. From the beginning, GFP was prepared, serious and focused and the reason why we went with them.Work Execution: GFP gave us a schedule of all their work and stayed pretty close to the timeline! Our family had moments that took us away from our house for an extended time but GFP continued to show up and do their work, updated us through it all and were so trustworthy through this whole process. Every time we’d come back, there would be huge amounts of progress done in our absence!Work Quality: The work that was done was outstanding! When GFP did the excavation, they had their work cut out since there was an old septic tank right in the area where our pool was going to be. They got to work and handled it flawlessly. They also had to re-route our sewer line. Any issue they encountered, they fixed it and continued to move our pool project forward. We are so happy with our pool!Personnel: This company has a lot of heart and soul! Whenever I look to hire a company, I’m always looking for people with integrity, respectful and responsible and the GFP crew have all of that and more! We had Marc Sr. and Marc come out to give us a bid and they were both direct and to the point which I appreciated. They stayed for a while to get all measurements out and gave me a bid soon after that. Todd is their project manager and jack of all trades. He’s a true MVP. He kept the project moving forward, kept us on schedule, kept us updated when we were out and was incredibly diligent on his work. Jamie was always incredibly prepared with our paperwork and ensured to keep track of all changes which there were many since I was so indecisive with colors! Marc Sr. runs the company and was so hands on in our pool project and always made us feel like we were part of his extended family and he was going to take good care of us which they did! All the employees were outstanding!Final thoughts: Getting a pool is a big project both financially and can be emotionally taxing. I was so nervous about the cost and all the horror stories you hear of people with pools never getting finished. GFP is not like that at all. They are honest and hard working and we had our pool done in about 6 weeks from start of the project. I called them for a bid in April, they started my project in June and our pool was finished by mid-July. If you’re on the fence about getting a pool and who you should go with, my advice is to go with GFP. You will be so happy with the end product! They walk with you on this journey and make this an enjoyable experience!
