Extremely Disappointed –

i hired blue water pools in the fall to winterize our spa. By early spring we discovered burst PVC lines and cracked pump housing and a damaged repairs that cost a ton.

Stay away from this company! I wish zero was an option. I have haven’t this company several chances to respond before posting this review. My first email was as follows:
I am writing because I am very dissatisfied with today’s service. I was told that I needed to get the water off the top of the pool cover and check the water level. But in order to do that we had to remove the cover ourselves which took 5 people and hours of work. My understanding is that cover removal is part of the opening. However we were charged the full price of opening though we did the majority of the work.

Secondly, the technicians (only 2) seemed confused about how to open the system. And though we did offer some information given to us by the previous owners on how to turn it on, they were unable to get the waterfall and moat to work. The pool was in working order at closing last season. I told the rep on the phone that this was an infinity pool with waterfall. Someone who is familiar with this type of pool should have been sent.

So I am very upset because I was charged $350, did most of the work myself, and the techs put some chemicals and turned some switches. And removed plugs of which it seems we are missing two now from the skimmers. The timers weren’t set either and the screws were just sitting there.

I do not think that the price is equal to what took place. $350 is the price when everything is done including removal of cover. Now we are left with a half functioning pool and will have to call another company to troubleshoot. I expect a response from the owner of the company. As a first time customer I am disheartened

I followed up with a second email: I did not receive a response to my previous email.

As a follow up, I had to call a different company who knew what they were doing and found that plugs were not removed form the lost and the pump was not reversed from winterization. This is ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to pay another company to finish the job.

I would like a refund.

I have tried calling and the call doesn’t go through.

Lisa Shelters on Blue Water Pools- Jackson

Does anyone see any “Blue Water” here? Neither do we. We chose this company because we wanted to go with a local family business. We were excited to meet with the owners. We ordered and paid for our pool, the liner, equipment and had water delivered. We had to sign a waiver releasing them from any liability for damage to our yard which is still torn up a year later. As installation was taking place, the family member installing the pool brought his young children who played in the dirt around the liner with screwdrivers and other tools. We had to ask them to move away from the pool several times. We should have realized then, we had made a mistake. Since we were new pool owners, we asked if someone could come help us close the pool in September or at least show us how. We have a deck built around our pool and we were told they could not cover it and gave us no instruction how to. We ended up going to another pool company to get instruction on how to take care of closing the pool, which those people somehow had no problem explaining to us how to do it. Upon opening our pool this Spring, and working on getting the water clear - the liner we spent over a thousand dollars on from Blue Water Pools ripped on the seam when no one was in the pool, less than a year after buying it. 11,000 gallons of water flooded our entire yard and we were in shock. When we called, and spoke with Tina she did not say she was sorry, she did not offer to help in any way and did not return my texts, phone calls or emails except to say she was working on it, weeks later. Although the liner was clearly defective, ripping on the seam while no one was even in the pool, they did not honor the warranty and did nothing for us at all. I cannot stress how disappointed I am with my experience with Blue Water Pools. We hired another company and spent the money to install a new liner, repair the damage, firm up the sand around our pool, purchase chemicals and refill the pool. It was an expensive lesson learned. Go somewhere else if you want Blue Water in your pool.

Our heater went out on our tub, of course in the winter and it's an outdoor tub! They came out and replaced the heater in one day! Fast reliable and good quality work. This means alot seems how we purchased the tub here several years ago. It's nice to know they stand by their products and can service them right now. Something lost on many businesses these days. Great job!
