Showed up to evaluate the pool. Provided very little detail in the evaluation beyond “everything must be replaced” and sent a $150 bill for that and then expected same day payment. To be clear, the diagnostic bill was not disclosed, and they emailed about the “overdo bill” on both day 1 and day 2 after it was sent. Aggressive collection practices and not very helpful otherwise. Girl was nice who set up the apt for me.
I found PBPS from Google as an authorized Jandy dealer. Upon initial contact, Jade did an excellent job in contacting me and arranging a technician visit.Andrew, the owner showed up on time as committed and started troubleshooting while keeping me informed as to what was going on.He found the Sensor to be bad and replaced with a new OEM part which was available on his truck.I found them very trustworthy and reliable. I would certainly recommend their services to anyone who is looking for it.
I had a problem with the deck jets set into the coping of my pool. Of the three, one had ceased to function. The plumbing is/was under pavers, and Palm Beach Pool & Spa was about the only company I could find who were willing to work on the job. Other companies seem to be very cagey about committing to do anything if they can't actually see what the problem is directly. I even got so frustrated that I pulled some pavers up myself to see the extent of the problem. Turns out it was pretty (but not entirely) simple plumbing and replacement of Jandy jets, and Andy came and took a look and gave me a very fair quote. I really appreciated his coming out, as most people just don't want seem to want to get involved with water features.The craftsmen who worked on replacing the jets did an excellent job, and I like the fact that they didn't leave until everything was fully tested and I was satisfied. Their work was very neat and they were very careful to minimize any possible damage to the coping.I also liked the fact that there was no money up front and payment was only due of successful completion. I am really glad I found Andy and his company and recommend them unreservedly.
Don't look ANY further, just call Andy immediately!He is a pool pump/filter replacement wizard!He answered my call courteously, promptly came to my house and assessed what was needed then returned to my house with the new equipment for a fast and beautifully plumbed installation.
