Pools! We were told then that the project would take 6 to 8 weeks. They started our pool on December 8th and it is still not finished. Today is 6/26/26. They are also suppose to finish the concrete for our driveway and a garage. I have asked them to set a date for the driveway and they will not. First sign of trouble was that they did not call the power company to have the power line marked and hit our power line. I talked the power company out of fining them. They miss promised progression dates constantly. They lie when you ask questions or they do not answer questions. It’s been everything….workers truck broke down, material supplier truck broke down(I called the supplier. None of their trucks were broken) material on back order, our workers got caught by ICE…to our tools are broken….They left me with a giant concrete hole for months that had rebar sticking out of it. We have 3 young children. I expressed that it was a hazard. They did not seem to care if they could be harmed due their negligence. I have asked them several times to clean up the trash and construction debris that they have left all over our property. This is also a hazard for our children. I was told they would clean it up today and they have not. I have only seen the owner Shawn Kelly when he was paid. He has never been to our property to look at the project. When asked about problems with the project he lies and says he has no idea about any of it. They do not do anything with professionalism. It is the worse run company I have very seen. They just take your money and lie. DO NOT USE SUNDAIL POOLS!!

Overall I’m giving Sundial 5 stars because of the product they delivered. If there is anything negative in this review, please refer back to the pictures so you are reminded of the outcome.

First off, what we have learned in this process is there is really no good experience when putting in a pool. Even the pool company employees say “that’s how pool companies operate.” Most of our issues came from a very weak “project manager.” She would second guess the boss (Shawn), tell us one thing while doing another. She completely dropped the ball many times and was eventually let go because of that. Since she was let go, the owner had to take over her duties while dealing with the rest of the company which understandably caused massive delays. (Look at the pictures)

Everyone that came to our house to work on the pool was wonderful. Very polite and didn’t mind us asking questions or hanging around to watch at times.

I would highly recommend sundial pools to do your project. The one thing I wish I had known before going into this project was do not expect great communication. Apparently that is the industry standard. But just look at those pictures.

A suggestion would be to give the customer a plan for the week on Monday. Then update them as the week progresses. If the plan will not be complete just keep them informed. There was a lot of days when no one would show up leaving us wondering what was going on. (Pictures)

Overall I’m very happy. Especially with Shawn and his office staff.

As far as maintenance goes, we use Luke and could not be more pleased. Easily the best part of owning a pool is walking outside and seeing a beautiful clean pool and being able to jump right in. Luke provides great service and peace of mind that is priceless! Highly recommend Luke!!!!

We had our fiberglass pool installed this past April and we have really enjoyed it this summer. The crew did a phenomenal job with the install.
Melissa has been by every other week cleaning and checking the salt levels in our pool. She is prompt, very informative, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend Sundial Pools!
