We have been loyal customers of Pioneer Family Pools for years, trusting them with our openings, closings, and major purchases like a new liner, heater, filter, and safety cover the last few years. I'm usually the pool boy but because of personal circumstances this year, we decided to sign up for their weekly service and pre-paid roughly $1,800 for both an opening and a 10-week maintenance package.

However, because these locations operate as separate franchises rather than a cohesive organization, the Vaughan store called to state they could not honor the service package I had literally just paid for the day prior. Instead of offering some form of actual solution, I was basically fired as a customer for getting caught between two competing franchisees; they unilaterally canceled our original order with Markham—which I only discovered via an automated refund notification, with no courtesy call from the original branch.

When I spoke with Vaughan, their only suggestion was an offer to service our pool next year, which is of zero help to a customer who needs their pool opened for the current season. While I understand franchises have independent operations, an internal organizational disconnect shouldn't result in a long-term, paying customer being dropped entirely..

I bought an Aiper N1 here. It has strong power and cleans very thoroughly. For corners and edges, you can let it run a few more times, but it's definitely a worthwhile investment. The stuff here is very friendly and professional. Also, I won a grand prize-I think for the whole year, every time I see this red cooler and the variety of other prizes, it will make me very happy. Thank you.

Excellent experience....I need to redo my plumbing for my pool, Paul spent a lot of time with me as we measured up all my fittings. Paul took the time to ensure everything was perfect!

Prior this this, Charlie suggested I get all my measurements and fittings in tact, from there the team would assist.

We had Pioneer Pools install our gorgeous inground pool in late 2022. They were absolutely amazing! We only use Pioneer to open and close the pool every season. Brian guided us through the entire process of choosing the right pool for our needs and incorporating it with our landscaping design. Lisa and Ryan are fantastic at organizing the services we need and only use Pioneer to open and close the pool every season. We have had a great experience with Pioneer Pools..professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very communicative! Without hesitation I would definitely highly recommend them:)

This is my first review on a retail store. Our in ground pool pump and lights need replacement recently and we went to Pioneer Family Pool Service in Markham location. We are very impressed by the professional and knowledgeable assistance by the store. The store is big and has almost everything we need for our pool. We went many times as well as emailing. Every time we were treated very nicely and patiently. All their staff are very helpful. We highly recommend this store, we bought the Hayward pump and Retro LED light, our pool is now officially opened for the season thanks to Pioneer Family Pool Service.
