We met with several contractors prior to our build our in ground pool. Medallion offered the most fair price of them all. They did not try to up sale us on unnecessary features as others did. Wayne is extremely knowledgeable and was very responsive throughout the process. We absolutely love our pool and would highly recommend their services.
With so many horror stories of bad contractors, Wayne put our minds at ease and delivered everything as promised. Wayne was very responsive to every question we had and did his best to coordinate his work crews. We are very happy with the outcome of our backyard project. Any question we had, Wayne was able to help us with, even if it didn't pertain directly to the project itself (had a pool pump leak). I would recommend Medallion Pools to anyone of our friends or family looking to update their backyard.
We had a great experience with Medallion Pools! From the first visit I felt Wayne understood our vision and was able to refine our ideas into a design that was just what we wanted. We were able to do pool, spa, and patio cover within budget. Communication was always a top priority with Medallion Pools. We were updated at every step, and any questions were answered quickly. Wayne was always on site getting his crews set up at the beginning of the day and checking everything over at the end of the day. Our project took 5 months from dig to fill which is very reasonable in this market. We have friends who started their projects months before ours and they still are not finished! My family and I cannot recommend Medallion Pools enough! Medallion had been highly recommend by a family friend. We met with them in early 2020 and continued to interview at least six builders throughout the metroplex over the next year. In January 2021, we decided it was finally time to get started with building our dream pool. Without hesitation, we selected Medallion because of their timely communication, overall value, and knowledge and that they were a family business. We trusted them with our vision and they did not disappoint! The owner Wayne and his daughter Taylor were patient and took the time to refine our design and material selections multiple times. Our contract was signed in late February, ground broke on April 1st, we were swimming by mid-July.The process was seamless, even with Covid and possible contractor and material delays, which we had none. Everything was of the highest quality and delivered on time. Clearly a result of proper planning.Wayne inspected each step of the process and was on site daily. Questions (we had many, as this was our first pool build) and emails were responded to respectfully and immediately. In fact, Medallion sent an email nearly everyday as to what the plan would be for the day. Afterwards, at the end of the day, a followup email was sent explaining what had been completed and what to expect for the coming days. The timeline was followed precisely.The contractors were very professional, without a doubt, the stone masons are the best in the industry.Harley and Dave were always helpful throughout the process. Harley watered the shell daily, answered any questions and did a fantastic job of pool opening, cleaning, and provided pool school and installation of our accessories.Thank you Medallion Pools for transforming our backyard into an oasis that will be enjoyed for years to come!
We just completed our pool build with Medallion and we couldn't be any happier with the pool and with our experience with the crew from Medallion. Like many people right now, we decided to build a pool during the pandemic. We quickly learned how slammed the entire industry is. Some of the other companies took over a month to even return a call. However, from the moment we contacted them we felt like a valued customer and a priority. When we were choosing a builder we really looked for a company that would be honest, trustworthy, and communicative throughout the process. The last thing we did before we chose a company was read reviews, from sites like this, about all the companies we were looking at. I read the nightmares that people experienced with other companies and we decided that Medallion was the company we wanted to have build our pool. We've never built a pool or even owned one so we had no clue about the process. Wayne and team really took their time and explained things to us and helped us make choices that were right for our space, our needs/wants, and our budget. They were EXTREMELY communicative throughout the entire process. We heard from them almost everyday and if there was a crew or contractor at our house then someone from Medallion came by as well. With pool companies being slammed right now, we knew there would be some delays due to materials and/or contractors being behind. Even when our project sat waiting for the stone masons, we got an email from Medallion every other day, at the least, to check in on us. We also had a mix up on our tile (totally could have been my fault). I didn't realize it until the last minute, right before the guys were going to put them on. I thought we'd have a difficult time getting it fixed or corrected but one call to Wayne and it was fixed. The right tile was at our house the next day. After the pool was built we had our own crew fixing sprinklers and they cut an electrical connection to the pool. One call to Dave and he was at our house within an hour and it was 5pm. I just can't say enough good things about this company. It's refreshing to see people that love what they do and take pride in doing it. We never felt like just another "job" in their cue. We always felt valued and like a priority. While our pool is completed, we know that our relationship with Medallion is far from over. When Dave trained us on the pool equipment, he made sure to tell us that we can reach out with any questions and they'd be there to support us as long as we needed it. We've heated the pool for the last 2 weekends and had a blast swimming in our new pool! Can't wait for summer! Thanks Wayne, Russell, Dave, Taylor and crew!
