It’s clear they truly care about their customers and take pride in their work. Communication is excellent, pricing is fair, and the results speak for themselves.

I hesitated to write this review, but my recent experience with CHI Pools prompted me to share my concerns. I contacted them because the deck jets for my pool weren’t working, though the bubbler on the same line was functioning. Suspecting I might be missing something, I asked CHI to investigate. Jim visited but couldn’t identify the issue and left a voicemail suggesting a wrench was needed to adjust the deck jets. He also claimed his technician confirmed the jets worked when the pool was opened. Doubting this, I hired another pool service company, who quickly discovered that the valves to the deck jets were turned off in an in-ground valve box—a simple fix resolved in five minutes. This other company said no charge for the visit.

When I called Jim to inform him of the solution and my decision to switch companies, he became defensive, offered multiple excuses, and placed the blame on me. He never apologized and stated he didn’t want my business, also claiming I hadn’t paid for a recent valve replacement (invoiced five days prior) or for the pool opening in May, which I was unaware of but have since paid.

My issues with CHI Pools began earlier. During their first winterization of my pool in 2023, they couldn’t complete the job in one visit, claiming they needed a special tool for the bubbler—something the new company said was unnecessary. Additionally, after winterization, my sheer descent water feature was leaking, which CHI failed to notice during the pool opening. I discovered the issue myself after returning from work.

Had I received an apology, no excuses, and better customer service, I would have quietly switched companies without writing this review. Unfortunately, my experience necessitates sharing this feedback. I can no longer recommend CHI Pools.

Always prompt, fair, and consistent. We appreciate the reminder emails to schedule our service in spring and fall. Pool was installed in 2014 and is holding up well!

I have had them come out to my home several times for pool repair and maintenance for minor repairs to the pool plumbing to a burst pipe under the concrete. All work was completed very timely and professionally and at a very reasonable price. They can be a challenge to reach sometimes but as a fellow small business in the area, it can be extremely challenging to keep up with all of the phone calls and requests for work in the valley. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody and will continue to use their services.

Reading from the other reviews I'm not too shocked that I've called 3 times now to get a bid to do a pool for next year (2021) and have received no call back from "Jim". On 3 different occasions over the last 2 months I've called C.H.I pools to get a quote. I talk to the receptionist lady on the phone who assures me this time Jim will call me back, and still nothing. I certainly don't want to do business with someone who doesn't return my calls before even getting my money. If you want to run a successful business you should probably return calls..or fire your receptionist who isn't forwarding the messages. Taking my business elsewhere.
