Reviews are mixed. Positive notes mention quick scheduling for urgent equipment issues, thorough weekly service, and reliable seasonal openings/closings. Critical feedback cites billing clarity concerns and reports of brusque communication from the office or specific technicians. Customers value responsiveness but want more transparent estimates and smoother interactions.

We've lived in a NYC apartment for over 20 years before buying a house in Minnesota, so we weren't exactly familiar with how a pool worked or what had to be done to keep it looking great and operating smoothly. Andy Brown's has been fantastic in opening and closing our pool and have also provided awesome weekly maintenance services. All of the guys who come out for weekly visits--Gavin, Xander and everyone else--are thorough and great. And Milan is a rock star whether setting the pool up or closing it down or coming on the weekly maintenance. Anytime a part has needed repairing they're quick to fix or replace. And the office crew is always there to answer any questions and in a very timely manner. Grateful to have found them since getting our pool and looking forward to many more great summers.

I wish I could write a wonderful review about our extremely helpful service worker who came out to help us clean our pool. Throughout the cleaning they offered us tips and tricks on how to clean our pool ourselves (which we thought was free at the time) upon reviving the invoice we find out the tips and tricks were 200+ onto our already expensive bill for one pool cleaning and chemicals.

When we contacted Linda in the office they said “you think we can offered to be nice” the office people then said they will not be coming to close our pool for the season after refunding us for the 200+ we thought was free to start with. 100% do not recommend this service.

Andy brown is an old man who doesn’t know a thing about customer service. Totally disappointed and this is a company who doesn’t stand behind their products or services. Rude, disrespectful and he doesn’t care about his customers unless they are giving him more money

I hate to be one to leave bad reviews but the workers for this company are really rude, which make the experience bad. In the past, I tried calling to get someone to come and look at my pool and spoke with the owner and he was nothing but rude, gave me an attitude. I thought, looking at the reviews maybe their service would make up for it but there was a certain tech who was even more rude, Milan. He seemed to be very short tempered and seemed to hate what he does. Don't use their service unless you want to deal with bitter people, its not worth it.

My pump motor died and I reached out to three different companies, including AB Pools which I’d never worked with before (the other two I had used).

AB responded very promptly and was able to prioritize getting me on the schedule very fast to get to my house and replace the pump motor.

Pricing was fair and the people were very pleasant to work with.

Definitely recommend and will keep them on the top of my list in the future!
