Total professionals, need I say more? We have a difficult property because the majority our backyard belongs to the Army Corps of Engineers, so we needed a pool company that would be or become knowledgeable about that. We had several difficult situations arise during permitting and construction where hard discussions were necessary with us, and with outside parties, and I always felt like those discussions were handled very professionally and that Palmingo was always advocating for what was fair and right. We also wanted a pool builder that did it all - not just drop a pool and leave. We needed a new deck and outdoor patio enclosure. We are extremely happy with both. They do not hide the ball, they are very upfront with pricing, and potential problems. Julia was super proactive and informative during the project, I didn't feel like I needed to push the project along. (Were there slow periods? Yes, but she made sure I knew why, and when work would resume). Glen and Jason were amazing on site. Rebecca was great to work with as well. Were there hiccups? Absolutely - it's a major construction project. But, if I had to do it all over again I would choose to work with Palmingo again. The people at Palmingo are extremely good at what they do and really great to work with.

The pool itself is great. Unfortunately everything else they did was low quality work that was rigged at best. The results of the patio and retaining wall would be less tacky if we had paid our teenager to do it. Some examples in the pictures would be the giant blob of concrete they left right in the middle of our grass. The retaining wall was never sealed. It lets dirt/earth wash right through and makes a huge mess when raining. That funnels down a drain they created that empties right onto our bottom deck. We asked them to fix that and they sent a random guy who shoved blue tarpaulin next to the wall. Rocks were left everywhere after construction. We asked them to re grade the yard twice and it was still left with a steep incline. I should have bailed on this company at the beginning when they made an error on the estimate that cost us $9000. There are still tiles that aren’t glued down. I could go on and on. They left our yard and outdoor space a total wreck. Throughout the process we had to call them back to fix errors.
5/20/25 update. The company came out and busted up the concrete that was left in the grass. They put seed and straw to hopefully regrow grass. I feel like sod would have been a more optimal choice at this stage but I’m glad the concrete is gone. The retaining wall got some type of barrier placed on the grass side so hopefully ???? the earth won’t wash through on our pool deck when it rains. Unfortunately we won’t be able to recoup the $9000 line error they made and we had to absorb. I appreciate them coming to make some things right but the whole project was like this. Lots of errors with the company having to come back again and again to fix things. Still stand with my 2 stars.

We were sold a completely defective product by a builder who has no business building pools. We bought in good faith in 2022, the build took over two years and is still not fixed. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable builder, not a hobbyist. We cannot get either Palmingo or the manufacturer to fix the known defects. ****Update 11.27.24 Still no resolution, or projected fix date from either Palmingo or Plungie****Update April 2025 Repair crew uncovered major defective cracks in the structure, this pool is less than 2 years old.

My experience with Palmingo Pools is truly the best I could have imagined! From the very start, they were very transparent with their pricing and did an excellent job with setting expectations. There was no obstacle that Amanda, Rebecca, and Glenn could not overcome! Their communication left me feeling satisfied with my many questions as a first time home/pool owner. If we ever need another pool installed or any pool work done, Palmingo will be my first call!
