Unresponsive, spoke with tech several times but no visit - 2 weeks was enough
Extremely helpful. Truly appreciated his responsivness
My spa serviceman gave me a link to this place for clear diverter caps. The pictures showed clear caps, it's even in the title! I pay for rush delivery to find out they are NOT clear. I call customer support and they were somewhat indignant stating, "It says the caps are not clear in the website." You have to navigate to the View All to see their note. I returned their caps and was charged 20% restocking fee for their deceptive website!! They can make it right by refunding me my 20%!!! Will let you know in future posts if they do so.
I called regarding an issue with my spa. The person I spoke to was rude, impatient, and downright hateful. He spoke to me like I was stupid. The “I’ve been doing this for 20 years and never seen…” crap gets old. Just because you’ve been doing it for 20 years, doesn’t mean you’re good at your job or customer service. I will not be using them.
(EDIT- Replying back to The Spa Guys Reply) Thanks for the reply but I'm still not sure what number I should be calling other than the one listed on Google. Please dial your own number and take a listen. Stop blaming would-be customers for your poor system- Figure it out. Customers shouldn't have to decipher through your identity crisis. As an alternative approach, leave a contact number in your reply so you can work through some of the issues productively.(Original Post) I recently purchased a cold plunge tub that a built-in chiller, creating a self-sustaining system. As someone who was new to cold plunge systems, I reached out to the Spa Guy to inquire about a potential service call to help me understand the systems and to discuss the appropriate chemicals to use. From the start of the call, it was clear that the representative was irritated by my questions. I'm not sure it if was just a bad day, his disdain for cold plunges, or just his general demeanor, but his attitude was rude and dismissive. I remained polite and played the role of a novice to salvage the conversation, but he offered very little help. Finally, he mentioned that could order some a chemical kit that would be suitable for the tub, and could come out the following Thursday (6-7 days) with a promise to walk through my system and chemical usage. He said the kit would be in by Tuesday of this week but I haven't heard back at this point. When I called back and pressed "1" for service, the same as last time, I was connected to Buck who bluntly informed me that he didn't work for The Spa Guy and I need to contact parts or sales- neither of which picked up the phone. As a side note, I've seen some replies in the reviews that The Spa Guy does NOT do service yet it's the first option "1" when you call their store. I've also seen that the name "Buck" referenced and that "Buck does not work for us". Well, he's also the only one that picks up the phone.Overall, my experience with The Spa Guy has been incredibly frustrating. I received no follow-up on a promised service, no clarity on the products that I needed, and complete lack of willingness to help. Based on other reviews, and The Spa Guy's replies, this seems to be a consistent issue. I'd strongly advise anyone considering this outfit to look elsewhere.
