Extremely disappointed in Pioneer Pooll today. I purchased chlorine to shock my pool only to realize that the potency had degraded to 0%. I poured the whole 20 litre jug in and got no reading on the test scale.It is well known that chlorine degrades with time and temperature. I find it extremely negligent that they would sell me such a degraded product. They shouldn’t be keeping the chlorine from last year. !!!!The timing couldn’t have been worse! Procedure calls for shocking 24 hr after the initial algicide treatment. Because I didn’t realize the chlorine was bad until 4:00 pm Sunday when everything’s closed I wasn’t able to. That’s another 24 hours of waiting, not ideal :(
Todd and the team at Pioneer Newmarket are amazing. I know it can be overwhelming looking for a hot tub with so many different options and variety in price out there. What I loved most was the honesty and they never pressured me.We are so happy we made the decision to buy from them. In December we purchased a Wellis hot tub from Pioneer Pools. Being first time hot tub owners, the learning curve was steep. The staff here have been amazing. Answering any questions via email, phone or in person. Having in store water testing has been invaluable. As we learn how to test and treat the water on our own, it’s important to confirm what we are doing is accurate. Todd Barry has been amazing to deal with. Knowledgeable, professional, patient and always available. Thanks Pioneer Pools!
We get thw Xs model and Chris was the guy that guides us through all the process of getting or first spa .First of all, the hot tub was to arrive at the end of September and surprisingly it came early. Jay and Mark came to install the spa, they were very knowledgeable and helpful with the process.We had a small problem with the the drain of the hot tub which was resolved within days upon installation. We are very impressed with the size, quality, and comfort the tub provides. It is much more spacious then we had anticipated but really love the size. Managing the chemicals has been a learning curve but we are getting the hang of it with the support of the people at Pioneer. We very much recommend taking the time to read the manual because there is a lot to understand that can make the experience more enjoyable. Very happy with the choice and purchase. Thanks to Pioner For all the guidance and support.
Great company and great friendly staff! Chris Currah was great to deal with. He answered all my questions via email quickly even on his days off. I was on vacation when the crew came in and set my pool up. Nice surprise when I got back. They plumbed it in the week I got back and it was ready to go. Fantastic!!
