Calimingo Pools

Calimingo completely transformed both our backyard and front yard, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We spent a couple of months working with their designer to plan every detail, pool placement, the sitting and lounge areas, wood deck for sunbeds, full tile installation, front steps, and a beautifully designed privacy wall. What impressed us most is that the final result looks exactly like the 3D renderings we were shown in the design stage. What we envisioned is exactly what they delivered. Miguel was the key person throughout construction, and we cannot say enough about him. He and his team worked incredibly hard, and Miguel was always on top of every detail, responsive, friendly, and reachable at all times. His communication gave us full confidence throughout such a large project. As with any major build, some unforeseen issues came up during construction, but the Calimingo team and Jessie showed their experience immediately. They addressed challenges quickly, professionally, and without disrupting the schedule or compromising quality. Calimingo is premium-priced, but we truly believe you get what you pay for craftsmanship, organization, strong project management, and exceptional results. Each week they sent us a clear update outlining what work would be completed, percentage progress, and payment breakdown. They followed the timeline carefully and even finished ahead of schedule. All city inspections passed smoothly with no issues. Our outdoor space is now a dream, elegant, functional, and beautifully executed. We highly recommend Calimingo for anyone seeking high-end, well-managed pool and landscape construction, especially if you want a project delivered exactly as designed.

We are so happy with the result we got from Calimingo on our pool and yard. It really transformed the space from a bland concrete space we spent no time in to a beautiful entertaining area we enjoy as often as possible. The ambience from the water wall even improved the feel of being inside our home. Their crews were always professional and as clean as possible for such a major construction project right outside our living space. Like any large undertaking, you will have to pay attention to the details throughout to make sure you’re on the same page, as there will be tons of decisions to make after the renderings are made. As long as you communicate and trust the process, you are going to love the outcome and the value you get.

Calimingo Pools has truly been a transformative partner in creating beautiful and functional outdoor spaces for us. They have designed and built two pools for our family and are currently working on our new pool in Texas. You might have even heard my husband‘s voiceover on Calimingo’s social media recently. The excitement of envisioning a pool that will be a central part of our lives was paired with the daunting nature of the construction process. However, collaborating closely with Johnny on value engineering the design was an absolute delight. His extensive knowledge, creativity, and thoughtful approach made the process enjoyable. He had a knack for generating innovative ideas while ensuring the design was tailored to our lifestyle, especially considering the safety and enjoyment of our small children. Jesse the owner brought a vibrant and outgoing energy to the project. His team of designers made sure to receive his input on every revision of our design. I’ve seen other reviews about Jesse not being involved in their project, but had we not asked about his opinion, we might have assumed he wasn’t. Our designer was incredibly talented and Jesse’s independent contributions elevated the project beyond our expectations. Each of our projects were uniquely tailored to our needs, and we are immensely grateful for the positive impact these pools have had on our lives. Working with Calimingo Pools has been a pleasure, and their ability to transform our outdoor spaces has exceeded our expectations.

I’m so happy I went with Calimingo. I got bids from several companies and as soon as I got Calimingo’s bid, I knew I was going to hire them. It was super broken down and transparent, which helped me see what the other contractors were missing. My yard turned out better than I imagined it and I’m stoked to share it with my friends and family.

Calimingo Pools and Jesse Escalera!! What can I say that these pics don’t already tell you! Not only does this dude have the most badass beard of anyone in OC but Jesse has nailed the art of landscape design and architecture! The materials and elements he mixes together create one hell of a visual cocktail and I think I can be confident in saying that we have the dopest backyard of anyone in Huntington Beach thanks to Jesse and his crew. Worth every penny just for his creative mind, then couple that with unmatched quality of construction and well, you get what you see here! Jesse, thanks bro!!
