As per Chris’s comment we were the new buyers of the house and in fact Pleasure Pool did instal the pool. He was telling the truth as previous owner of home. Their company stamp is in the concrete. And yes the owner lied when we moved in our pool wasn’t operational and even wrote a letter saying it was. The pool was broken and salt water generator had to be replaced. When the technican who came to the house after our complaint to look at it didn’t even bother turning in on he just cleaned pool and never dealt with salt water pools. So not properly trained staff and owner is a liar and we got stuck with a huge bill when pool should have been operational as part of sales agreement. DO NOT use this company.
Ray was absolutely wonderful through our process of building a pool! This was our first big project involving many other parties including the RDOS, the ministry of health, land surveyors, engineers....Ray was always supportive and helpful through every step! He worked with the delays we couldn’t overcome. His crew was incredibly quick on their parts of install and I must say, gentlemen! I would absolutely use and recommend Ray for any further pool endeavours. Reliable, experienced, and a down right good guy!
Ray was great to deal with we had a unique situation with out pool installation (permitting issues) which messed up our dates for starting which obviously screws up there schedule. Ray was more then accommodating to keep us in the queue for when we were ready. As well upon completion any little issues were always resolved with a quick phone call, being toldOver the phone or having him comeBy the house. This is the second pool we have had done by pleasure pools and have had very little issues and the issues again were resolved. Thank you pleasure pools
Honestly I'm flabbergasted by the 2 negative reviews. I doubt that these folks actually used Pleasure Pools!Pleasure Pools has been our pool company for almost 20 years. Originally Jared was our main contact and then his brother Raymond took over the business. They have done our opening & closings every year, all repairs & maintenance and about 14 years ago Raymond did a complete overhaul of our pool - new Foxx pool, liner, added in stairs (we only had a ladder previously!), added a fantastic water feature with rocks and a "waterfall", stamped concrete pool apron, built a short allen block retaining wall to create a sitting area by the pool and finished it with paving stones. Absolutely amazing work at a reasonable price. We run a B&B so our pool is an extremely important part of our business. Stuff happens (maintenance/repair things) and Raymond has ALWAYS responded right away. He's even come out on holiday long weekends when it's been an emergency as he knows the pool is an important part of our B&B business We've always received excellent service and I'd highly recommend Raymond and Pleasure Pools to anyone. We just replaced our liner this year (2020) - a challenge during Covid! - and it was Raymond we hired to do that. We're completely satisfied with the product and the service and if we ever "redo" our pool again will not hesitate to use Pleasure Pools!
I don’t see how to respond to the two negative reviews, so I’ll respond here. First review pleasure pools didn’t build a pool for. He asked for an inspection on pool for property he was selling. He didn’t like that the company wouldn’t say pool was in good condition as it wasn’t.To the second reviewer..although it has been a family owned business since 1977, Raymond didn’t take over the company until 2006 and doesn’t even know who the reviewer is. She has never contacted Raymond.
