I've purchased two hot tubs from Sonoma Hot Tubs since 2020. For the first four years (2020-2024) customer service was awesome! That has all changed. I've had warranty requests which have taken so long that I've just stopped trying and had to purchase new parts on my own. Phone calls aren't answered, emails aren't responded to. Occasionally they will message over text and then stop messaging half way through the conversation. As a local first responder I purchased from Sonoma Hot Tubs because the owner at the time was a veteran. I have no idea what has happened over the last two years but I wish I had never purchased my hot tubs from them.
This dealer accepted a deposit from me, with delivery expected within 4-6 weeks. I checked back after a couple of weeks and they confirmed it was on track. After six weeks had passed, they stopped responding to emails and didn't return my phone calls, until (11 weeks since placing the order!) I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get a refund because they were no longer responsive. This completely unprofessional behavior not only wasted my time but caused me to lose rental income as well. Now I have to start over with a new order from a different company.
Our experience of buying from Sonoma Hot Tubs has been positive all the way through from walking into the showroom to have our tub delivered and set up. The staff were all great at every stage of the way, and we couldn't be more pleased with the product. I'd highly recommend them.UPDATE: after 3 yrs we needed a part serviced and updated. Again we received excellent service and are very happy with Sonoma hot tubs!
Sonoma Hot Tub is the best! After some comparison shopping, we determined Sonoma Hot Tub offers the best quality and value and decided to go with it. Bree is a very helpful throughout the process. Owner Thomas is extremely knowledgeable and technically hands-on. With the team's help, the hot tub was delivered on time, set up and ready for us to enjoy. The jets are strong and quiet. The interior and exterior quality are top notch. We are very happy with the purchase and the customer service. 5 stars on everything.
I purchased my hot tub from Sonoma Hot Tubs in 2017. I love the worry free maintenance option of having them come annually to thoroughly clean my hot tub, and I also purchase all my filters and water additives from them on line, which are promptly shipped. While I could do business with a vendor who is closer to me, this company has superior customer service. A real person always answers the phone and knows your account. Would not do business with anyone else. Highly recommend
