I purchased a replacement pool pump from a local pool supply store and had them install it. This review is primarily about the Moov Pool Products pump, though the installation experience is worth mentioning.We chose the Moov Ai MP165AI based on research and price. It’s a newer inverter-style pump in the U.S., using AI to detect water pressure and automatically adjust flow. It includes a control panel, Wi Fi, and an app for remote operation.The control panel uses military time (2 PM displays as 1400) and defaults to showing pump speed as a percentage of maximum output (apparently electrical output up to 120%, which makes no sense) rather than gallons per minute, though you can switch it to GPM. The screen also times out after one minute, which makes programming tricky until you get used to it. You can set up to four pump intervals ranging from about 35 to 130+ GPM. Moov advertises the pump as quiet, and it truly is—important because it sits near a bedroom window.I intended to use the app for control, but the technician programmed the pump at the panel anyway. It was clear he wasn’t familiar with the system; he had to read instructions and watch videos on his phone while trying to set it up. The panel kept timing out, and he occasionally hit the On/Off button by mistake. Although we eventually got Wi Fi connected after some difficulty, he programmed the wrong time of day and pump intervals, which I discovered the next day when the pump shut off mid afternoon.When I tried to correct the programming, the pump repeatedly shut off when transitioning from interval 2 to interval 3. The Moov manual only covers basic features and offered no troubleshooting guidance for this issue. I tried adjusting times and flow rates, but nothing resolved the issue. The pool store couldn’t help, and although they said they’d contact their Moov rep, no one ever called back. Moov’s direct support only sent links to generic videos that didn’t address the problem. Their final suggestion was a factory reset, which would erase all programming—including Wi Fi, which had been difficult to set up.With no useful support from the store or Moov, I turned to online AI tools and eventually fixed the issue through trial and error. I cleared all programming in the app and rebuilt the intervals there. The pump is now working correctly, but only because I solved the problem myself—not thanks to the installer or Moov’s customer service.
Great Customer Service.I've had the JustSalt system for less than a year.Very nice system.I had a small Issue with some of the panel buttons. Had to send the machine back.Sending it was easy.They followed up about the issue and what i should do.All in all, very good experience.
Amazing customer service!!! I had a problem with my mini salt system from Moov, so i went back to the retailer for help, and he said he charges 65$ just to send it to them, and even then they would refuse to help me out!! So i reached out to Moov directly, and they were more than amazing!!! I sent them photos of the issue i was facing and they gave me a prepaid lable to ship my system to them, they replaced the salt cell AND they provided me with a missing piece to connect the sensor flow..all in all AMAZING COMPANY and amazing customer service. I highly recommend them!!
Garbage, absolute garbage. I bought a Moov Just salt system last year to replace my very old Aqua Pure system. I ran that old system at 30% for 12hrs daily and it kept my pool chlorinated with no issue. Once replacing with a Moov it has been nothing but problems. I am now running it at %70 for over 12 hours and the system barely makes any detectable chlorine. When gettiing the water tested at my local pool store I get a reading of about 0.2 PPM. I have all other chemicals balanced and the cell is clean. I've gotten no help from customer service, always getting the response that "its probably something your doing". I long for the days of my old Aqua Pure.
Always amazing customer service. We have called them twice for minor issues with our salt cell and they get on video chat with you and walk you through troubleshooting steps! Really appreciate the service !
