Dave Sedgewick and the crew at ABC Pools finished our pool in November of 2023. It was a big job. We wanted a large pool that could meet the needs of ourselves, our adult special needs daughter, our other adult children and grandchildren who live locally. The pool is 25 x 40 with two cabo shelves, a spa, an electric retracting pool cover (safety concern for our daughter), bubblers in the cabo shelves, deck jets, fire/water bowls and LED pool lights. Dave was responsive and engaged from the bidding process through the end of construction. He helped with suggestions and always communicated promptly with us. He handled surprises (a septic tank we didn’t know was there from 1956) and problems (a defective fire/water bowl) quickly and effectively. He and his crew were easy to work with, he used extremely competent subcontractors, and he made the whole process go smoothly. He went the extra mile to solve the inevitable problems that crop up when you have a pool with so many features. The pool turned out exactly as we wanted. We have been using the spa all winter, heated the entire pool for a family event in December, and look forward to using the whole pool as the weather gets warmer.

We used Dave at ABC pool. Although it was a little behind schedule and we had a few bumps in the road I still want to give Dave five stars. He stuck to our negotiated price and he was always really responsive to our needs and questions. Dave even let us completely change the design of our pool several months before the project began. We checked with a couple other pool contractors before Dave and I just want to say, Guitons was extremely expensive by comparison, Premier pools was very expensive and very unprofessional, and Andrews pool made a good bid and Blaine seemed like a good option, but we liked Dave a little more. I always dread dealing with contractors, but Dave is an honest guy which makes all the difference when your dealing with someone for a big project like a pool build. I will post a few picture of our pool which we began fill at the beginning of July 2021. We are very happy with the design.
