I rely heavily on these reviews but have never left one... until now, because California Trademark Pools did such a fantastic job on our new pool and spa that I feel it's the least I can do to leave a five star review! I chose California Trademark Pools because they had already built pools that I had seen and was impressed with, and whose owners enthusiastically recommended them, and somehow they managed to exceed the very high expectations that I already had for them. They did everything they said they were going to do, and more, exactly when they said they were going to do it. From the initial consultation/design process, throughout construction, all the way until I was fully oriented to all the new equipment and every last one of my numerous questions was answered, everyone who worked on our project (Ryan, Jerry, Corey and Derek) was extremely professional, responsive, organized, patient, and just an all around good human to interact with. Having the owner (Jerry), whose decades of experience building pools is consistently apparent, be so directly involved in the entire process is unique and extremely reassuring, and Ryan did such an outstanding job of turning our laundry list of ideas at the beginning - along with a few of his own design touches that we hadn't even thought of - into the perfect combination of everything we were hoping for, as well as keeping us updated each step of the way. And they did all of that with better pricing than the other companies we talked to! Now I get to listen to all the compliments (which I've gotten from both friends/family and - more importantly - pool maintenance pros, who were all impressed with the workmanship when I had several come by recently to provide quotes for routine maintenance services), but California Trademark Pools deserves all the credit!
Thinking about building a pool? Ya, I get it. First experience going through this process myself and after multiple bids/consults we decided to sign the line with CA Trademark Pools. Behind the company name is what we really signed up for - a family run business that loves building pools. For us, it was tough explaining our "vision" and having builders create their virtual solutions. So many renders felt like some back office person just slapped together some AI generated landscapes. From the start, Ryan obviously listened and provided us with something that looked like what we were trying to picture with his professional input. We consulted, discussed, made changes and landed on a final design. While I've been through a few experiences with contracting house work and feeling like us requesting changes was a hassle on the contractor's part, you don't get that here. Completely open for discussion. Really felt like our happiness was the top priority. Still, spend LOTS of time learning what you want. Moving on. Pool construction begins May 2025. In comes Jerry with his machinery. Also, Cory, his main guy. These guys start digging. Adding, Jerry was out there prior with his leveling devices for a day, making sure everything would be level. It really was like watching a lesson in attention to detail. Working from my office with the windows open was a beeping symphony of perfection from his testing. Anyway, back to the exciting part - digging. My space was tight, but they dug the dirt and moved the dirt out with precision. Finally, without any issues, Jerry hit/gently bumped the gas meter with his skid steer. Quick call to PG&E, and meter fixed. Calling it out, cause things happen and Jerry was on it. Yup, Jerry and team did/do the digging and they are pros. You're hiring a builder so things go smooth and post dig in comes the contractors. From steel to plaster, everyone was great. Plumbing, equipment, more digging etc etc. All great. How many issues did I have with the build? I'm calling it ZERO. Sure a gas meter, had to fix a tile, fill a concrete hole but really ZERO as far as a project of this scale is concerned. And those little things - Jerry and team fixed them. Fast forward, pool was being filled July 23rd, 2025. Remember me mentioning Cory? You may have other items needing attention during the build - he's your guy. Loved working with Cory on the actual build and other side projects.Post build, we freaking love our pool. Our spa overflow isn't really what we wanted and if I understood a little better we may have added another pump to the build. But that is my fault. Saying this cause you may have read all this way... - be sure you ask all the appropriate questions. We already had a warranty issue. A text to Jerry and Ryan, was taken care of. Still sitting (literally) on a concrete issue. We had a partial summer 2025 and some days already in 2026 making memories with our pool. My wife and I got married in our backyard August of 2025, and our pool was a big part of that. One of our two dogs is super excited we built her a pool. She pleasure swims all the time and has the most usage out of everyone. The other one just thinks it's his new water bowl. Jokes aside, we've had rainy night romantic hot tub nights, pool BBQ's, kids having a blast and just plain great pool parties/get-togethers. I just turned 47 (never too old or young) and am super glad I had CA Trademark Pools put this pool in my back yard. So many memories made already. So, if you're thinking about doing a pool, do it. And if you need a recommendation, I absolutely vouch for Jerry, Ryan and team at CA Trademark.
We bought a new-build home in Lincoln, CA and had a blank canvas in our backyard. We knew we wanted a pool, so we interviewed a number of pool builders in our area, ultimately selecting California Trademark Pools. Our decision to go with this company was based on many factors, including that they are family owned, local and many of our neighbors and friends had previously used them as a pool contractor and loved the results.Ryan put together a beautiful design based off our desires. Jerry, Cory, Derek and the team kicked off the construction in November, for a winter build so we would be ready for Spring. We also need to offer a shout out to their concrete sub, JR Concrete Services, who left us with an awesome pool deck. They were exceptionally responsive and professional throughout the build process. We were ready for swimming by March (brought to you by pool solar by Sierra Pacific and warm CA weather). We could not be more happy to recommend California Trademark Pools for you pool build.
I procrastinated on building a pool for nearly a decade, always focused on the cost. Then at 62, I realized I wasn’t buying a pool…I was buying memories. After looking around, I called California Trademark Pools. From the first meeting with Ryan, I knew I had the right team. He promised to treat my project like they were competing for it, even though they were the only bidder. He delivered on every word.Their crew is outstanding. Every subcontractor has worked with them for 15+ years, and it shows. The process was smooth, fast (7 weeks start to finish), and professional at every stage….rebar, plumbing, tile, grading, gunite, like a well-oiled machine. Ryan kept me updated constantly, Cory treated my project like it was the only job in the world, and Jerry watched out for my wallet as if it were his own.The result? My dream pool, built better than I imagined. They even connected me with a great partner for patio covers.California Trademark Pools didn’t just build me a pool, they gave me a space for family, friends, and memories. It truly feels like having a pool builder in the family.
Ryan and Jerry at California Trademark Pools were fantastic! Their attention to detail was spot on, and they were incredibly attentive to my needs throughout the whole process. The turnaround time was quick, and their follow-up was excellent. On top of being total pros, they’re just great people. If you want a pool done right (and actually enjoy the process), these are your guys.
