We rented an airbnb that apparently uses this service and as one of the girls in our group was taking our belongings out to her car when the pool maintenance worker arrived. He pulled up quickly, and before introducing himself or explaining why he was there, he immediately started yelling, asking, “Do we have a problem?” and using profanity. She is a small young woman, and having a much larger man approach her that way understandably frightened her. She came back inside visibly shaken and crying, and we immediately locked the back door because we had no idea who he was or why he was acting that way. We understand his truck may have had a company logo on it, but in a situation where someone is being yelled at, their focus isn’t on reading the side of a vehicle. A simple introduction such as, “Hi, I’m here to clean the pool,” would have completely changed the interaction. Even so, we wanted to make sure there was no misunderstanding or lingering tension, so we all went back outside with our friend while she apologized to him. We wanted to approach the situation with kindness and respect because our faith teaches us to love everyone, and we did not want anyone to think there was any hostility from our side. While she was apologizing, his only response was, “Do you know what a Karen is?” before walking away. That left us feeling even more uncomfortable. As young women staying alone at the property, this interaction made us feel unsafe, and it ultimately led us to check out earlier than planned. We let our host know because the xomapny essentiall represents his property while guests are staying there, and we felt they should know how the interaction was handled. We hope you’ll address this with the pool service so future guests aren’t made to feel the way we did.
HARD PASS. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!Moved to a new house and shopping for pool service. Submitted an online request on their website Wednesday around 9 AM. Out of the 5 companies I submitted a request to, they were the 2nd ones I reached out to but the last ones to reach out back to me (excluding the auto-generated "thank you" text which the other pool companies sent as well). Lisa from the office called me Wednesday at 5:38 PM and said she could have a tech come out the next day to give me a quote. Jose came out Thursday around noon. He was super nice and professional. He said he would get me 3 different quotes for the 3 type of packages they offer by the end of the day or the next day (Friday) in the morning at the latest. By Friday at 4:25 PM, I had yet to receive anything so I called and spoke to Lisa and she said they'll send it over shortly. They sent 2 quotes (not 3) at 4:40 PM. Monday morning at 10 AM, I called to discuss the quotes for further clarification, especially since the links weren't working. Lisa said she's going to call Jose and call me right back. She never did. Tuesday morning at 8:28 AM, almost a week after I had initially reached out, I called saying they never called me back and asked to speak to a manager. She put me on the phone with Jose and he was a totally different person than the guy that came out to the house. He kept interrupting me and talking over me. He was rude saying I didn't know anything about pools (that might be true but this is not my first house with a pool and that's not something you'd say to a prospective client), and making excuses for their lack of responsiveness. If they're this bad when they're trying to earn my business, I can't imagine how bad they are once they do earn it. Reading some of their other reviews, I should've just never reached out to begin with.TLDR: Unresponsive, unprofessional/rude, overpromise/underdeliver. Ended up going with a different pool company that responded right away and was able to get me on the schedule immediately.
RRPP built my pool in 2021.. A small crack developed into a large one. None of the pool virus going around, just a patch of bad gunite. He fixed it and it looks as good as new. And he didn’t cut corners as you can see. Thank you around Rock Pool Pros. You stand behind your work!
We were in desperate need of a waterfall remodel. Round Rock Pool Pros did excellent work and our finished product was better than we imagined. Fred was great to work with and he made sure every step was done professionally and was exactly what we wanted. So happy with the work and highly recommend!
If you are looking for a team that does it all and cares during the process Round Rock Pool Pros is it. Don't look anywhere else. Kevin and Wes were amazing when it came to building and designing our dream pool the pool. Even when we changed a few things along the way Wes and Kevin worked with us to get the design right. They not only kept to there timeline but finished a few weeks ahead of schedule. We were able to have our daughter's birthday party which was amazing. Wes, would always answer any question we had about the system. Kevin, was always keeping us in the loop on the next steps. These 2 guys work great as a team to get the pool finished. If you are thinking in building a pool call them today.Thank you guys. You brought to life our dream pool.
