I don't recommend Hill pool for weekly pool cleaning/maintenance .The pool manager cleans the pool well but he shouldn't have to come behind his workers in order to clean the pool. The pool cleaners come to the house for 15 minutes to clean pool and by the time I get home 30 to 40 minutes later it doesn't look like anything has been done as the pool is with grit and debris and the skimmers are not emptied. The last time they came out it was during a thunderstorm where I could see on cameras that the gutters where gushing with water empting into my pool as the cleaner was trying to clean the pool. Absolute nonsense. This should have been rescheduled for a day where it was not raining. How can you balance chemicals or even check it for that matter during the rain? They have a high turnover rate for pool cleaners as well and the chemicals are not routinely checked. I have developed more staining on pool floors and discovered that this is due to improper balancing of the pool. I've had two independent pool companies evaluate and they have told me the same thing regarding. The pool sand filter was not checked during the years I was with the company and never recommended to be changed by Hill and when I saw another company they discovered that it was the consistency of mud and once they changed it my pool appearance improved. I've spent hundreds of dollars in chemicals with Hill that they recommend that can only be purchased thru them , which should have been my first red flag , only to have subpar pool appearance /health of pool and have those same chemicals cause my staining due to copper being in most all the chemicals they sold me. Not to mention that the punch card that is suppose to take $50 off of your bill for ever $100 you spend once 5 punches are received... they would not honor after the entire card was completed. I do not recommend. You would be better off cleaning your own pool.
Hill did a great job replacing the sand in our filter. They’ve always. given us great advice on keeping our chemicals balanced. We’ve been a customer for over 10 years.
Been using them for a couple of years. Good service. Reliable. They just repaired this. Check yours. Water here on top of chemicals is a killer to steel. Stainless steel bolts needed? They maintain our pool weekly.
I had a minor problem with a spa I bought from them. The owner came out personally to assess thr problem. The technician who made the repair was very courteous and knowledgeable
*Updated review after the situation was reviewed and 100% addressed.Appreciative and thankful are a couple of the words I can say after a long and frustrating process.Let me say the girls upfront are really friendly are genuine. Recently I invested a large amount of monies into my pool after all of the water in early July. I had my sand filter changed after learning that was a propable cause. It did not fix and more and more chemicals were added. Eventually I asked at that point if someone could swing by for a one time cleaning, which originally was going to have to be scheduledweeks out. At this process of money and time spent, Hills management stepped in to review the case and ease my frustration.***The GM then came by my home, along with Sloane, who is part of the service and customer services. My pool was however, beyond a cleaning. This wasn't an equipment issue, this was deeper. She immediately put a plan in place. A water sample taken, then had the head of the pool cleaning division along with his assistant out the next day. The two gentlemen worked vigorously to get things situated and underway. They had to bring a very large seperate filter that did run for a few days and a few more chemicals (nothing crazy). We watched over the next few days as we were able to see the cloudiness thin and we were able to see the bottom of our pool once again! A final cleaning and we were good to go.In the end this was something that wasn't predictable and neither chemicals nor a one time cleaning would have fixed. The entire Hills crew, all the way up to the owner, should be commended and my husband and I will continue to be loyal customers after this experience!!!
