Tropical Pool Services & Renovations

Yesterday I needed an emergency repair on my sand filter valve. I called for service and a technician was at my house within 45 mins. He diagnosed the problem, said he needed some parts and would return late in the afternoon to make the repair. He showed up as promised and made the repair, working well past his normal quitting time. You don't find many businesses today with that kind of service dedication. I was impressed with how they responded.

I received a text very early this morning and Danny was at my house before 10. He diagnosed the problem with my pump and only charged for labor. He assured me I didn’t need a new pump but if it caused more problems, he would come out and check it with no service charge! This is truly a company that cares when the owner responds that quickly and was so kind and friendly. If I could give you an extra star, I would!

Subpar quality of work. Inconsistent in showing up. For background, I have a saltwater pool and we only used them for weekly pool maintenance. Really nice folks here, but they didn't do amazing work. They struggled with keeping people, so there was a new guy every month. They would often miss and not show up. When they did show up, the guys were so behind on their routes, they would rush and not be thorough.. My pool often had algae and needed skimming and brushing after they left. The water chemistry wasn't good either. We ended up moving on from them after getting the water tested at a store. The chemistry was easy off, which was the reason for the constant as algae. They also used chlorine tabs in my pool which is a red flag. This is definitely the right company as the information matches paperwork and invoices. You guys do terrible work for saltwater pools. It's suspicious that all the other reviewers only have a couple reviews to their name. Nice job Danny.

Woke up on a Saturday morning to find out my pool pump was spraying water everywhere. I jumped on Google to try and find someone who could get it fixed before things got worse. Tropical answered, and although they couldn't come out that day, they promised to see us first thing Monday. They asked for a video of the problem to see what kind of pool pump and filter we had so they could make sure to have everything they needed to get our pool working again. These guys are great! Their response time was awesome, prices were very fair, and they know their stuff. I highly recommend Tropical Pool Services and will call them first for any future pool needs I may have.
