So I've been trying to get my hot tub repaired. It was leaking at the pump, told seals were bad, needed pump rebuild. Super simple and pretty easy to do. They didn't want to do it at my home and said to bring it in. So I loaded my hot tub on fly flat bed trailer and brought it to their shop. They weren't able to get to it right away n it sat. They pushed my trailer n tub off to the side and it took over 4 weeks to get it unloaded. It was full of garbage, soda cans and water from sitting outside. I personally went there week after week just to check in on status of repair. There was zero communication from them. Every time they would blow smoke up my tail, tell me what I wanted to hear ... We're working on it, awaiting parts . This went on for over 4 months!! I got to the point I quit checking in on status, and gave up on ever getting it back. They finally called me on Friday and said it was ready !!!! Holi cow no way ... I went down on Saturday to see how much they were going to charge me, never having any commucation what so ever... They said we're very sorry sll the issues and said no charge !! Really, ok, thank u for doing the right thing. Get the tub loaded n back yo my house that Saturday afternoon. They cut my brand new 15 amp plug off, and put on a 20 amp plug. My house wasn't wired for that 20 amp. So I had to replace my GFI 20 a 20 amp. Then I started looking at the rest of the wiring, totally butchered, magnetic safety s we itch bypassed with wing nuts. The small circ pump cut n spliced with wing nuts. There were ground wires pulled off and disconnected just laying there. I bypassed the switch to work on it with a small magnet, not cutting required. I replaced all their jacked up electrical connections properly. Filled tub with water on Wednesday then tried to get tub going. What a joke !! Switch for jets doesn't work, the mini circ pump just quits. After an hour + of messing with wiring, and resetting internal brakers, getting it to function for a few minutes as t a time. It keeps turning off and quiting. One of the jets doesn't work at all. I'm sooo angry about this whole situation. Absolutely insane there's no work ethics, or integrity about doing a job properly and timely. If I could leave a zero star I would.Do yourself a huge favor and drive past this joke of a business. I'm so grateful I didn't pay for all their top notch work. Just a waste of a lot of time....
I had a great experience with Affordable Spa & Pool Inc.! The staff was friendly, helpful, and really knowledgeable about everything I needed. They answered all my questions, didn’t try to upsell me, and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. The prices were very reasonable too. The store was clean, organized, and easy to find what I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back here for any spa or pool supplies. Highly recommend!
Second time working with them and I couldn’t say anything more than exceptional people and very knowledgeable. Called around to get my Hot Tub fixed not a single person could figure out my problem but Bert and his crew. If you need someone hit them up!
Called on a Thursday as my spa was making a high squeal and leaking. Im west of corvallis. They had a guy out on Monday and in 1.5 hours my spa was back in business and new pump replaced. Repair man was awesome and super nice.Thanks for the fast service and very reasonable cost .
If you want to buy a hot-tub in a fancy, low-lit showroom with options displayed on the floor and salespeople in matching shirts that want to up-sell you on everything, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.Affordable Spa and Pool is high on value, and seems low on atmosphere, until you get to know them - and then the place grows on you! They refurbish unwanted hot tubs and sell at an affordable price -- so much cheaper than buying new. Bert is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and will walk you through the warehouse area where they have other hot-tubs in process. Lena will answer all of your questions about pricing, payments, delivery times, and all-things-hot-tub! The delivery guys (shout-out to Randy who came back the next day with our missing item) were incredible and they made sure we knew exactly how everything worked. We added an ozonator and a stereo system and we are super happy with our "new" LA Spa! The before and after pictures are absolutely night and day...Thanks, Bert, Lena, Randy, Brandon, and everyone we've met along the way. We'll be back and will refer our friends.
