Rodney and his team provide great service and stand behind their work. The first liner had an unfortunate rip/defect but Rodney came out and replaced it promptly! Very knowledgable and professional. Highly recommended.
Rodney has been our go to guy for pool services since I first found his paper post during the pandemic. In fact, I think I was his very first customer when he first went on his own. Not only does he do a fantastic job at opening and closing our pool, but his level of communication with me is above and beyond. Splash Pool Services recently opened our pool and also installed a new heater. They also installed this pool a couple of years ago. Rodney and crew did a fantastic job, as always. I highly recommend using Splash Pools for all of your pool needs. Thanks Splash!
I do not recommend Rodney Smith / Splash Pool based on my direct experience.In 2025, I hired Rodney and his crew to install an above-ground pool for approximately $3,800 (installation-only as I purchased the pool elsewhere). The installation was completed in under 4 hours, which initially seemed efficient—but it quickly became clear that the job was not done correctly.Key issues:* The pool was installed significantly out of level (approximately a 6-inch difference from one side to the other).* The frame was not properly secured.* The pool wall became unstable, running unevenly and eventually buckling inward at the base.I raised these concerns with Rodney multiple times. His response was consistently that “it will be fine,” despite clear evidence to the contrary.To verify the situation, I had two independent pool companies inspect the installation. Both stated that the workmanship was unacceptable and improperly done.As a result, I am now forced to completely take down the pool and pay to have it reinstalled correctly, incurring additional expense and time.This situation could have been avoided with proper installation and accountability. Unfortunately, neither was provided.I am currently pursuing resolution through small claims court.If you are considering hiring Splash Pool and Rodney, I strongly recommend doing your due diligence and ensuring expectations are clearly documented before proceeding.
Rodney, with Splash Pool services did a phenomenal job closing our pool last season(2024) and opening our pool this season(2025). He went above and beyond, we needed water hauled in and a water truck was here the day of! Rodney, fixed a leak on our salt generator as well! Slash Pool services comes highly recommended from this pool!
